Dutch master REVERSE preemptive use?

I have used Dutch master REVERSE in the past with good results.....I think. We used it 4-5 weeks into flower because we were fairly certain our dark cycle had been interrupted with a few hours of light. We sprayed, and repeated the process 10 days later as instructed on the bottle, and didn't see any hermies. There is a chance though that the cycle never was interrupted and we did this for no reason. Having had plants hermi before, we didn't want to take any chances.

So my question is. Would you recommend doing this at the beginning of flower, just in case? The directions actually instruct you to spray early on in flower (for us that wasn't an option)

Usually I'd say less is more, and why add something I don't need. But my plants have gone through a decent amount of stress through veg (low temps...transplanting problems) So I feel like any stress, and something will happen. Would you recommend spraying them?
(I am not anticipating problems, but a small light leak COULD happen to anyone, and with me just going into flower now, the weather should be getting warmer and warmer, so it might be difficult to regulate the temps exactly how I want them......it's my first year in this house)

Most people give the product good reviews, and if we really did have a cycle interrupted, it worked great. But i know it "fixes" hermi problems by manipulating hormones, and I wonder if spraying it "just in case" is worth it?

Some reviews said that you need to spray right when the problem (ie. light leak) happens, because once bananas, it's basically too late, and you will just be slowing down the production of them, as opposed to stopping them. That being said, it is the only product on the market like it, and it has been shown to work.

Thoughts? Thanks for your input!

ps. I already have enough reverse, so please leave cost of the product out of consideration for use. I am only asking about plant health, quality, yield.

i have some finicky thais and hazes that throw nanners around week 10 of flowering. low yielders to begin with, I like to push em as long as possible, but the nanners are like the fat lady singing. to my everlasting amusement, my dad, (who cant see a trich in a scope worth a shit) thinks this is a good thing...like a pop up turkey timer (quote)
even though the nanners are infertile...i still dont like em.

I tried reverse sprayed in weeks 2, and 3. the haze just came down in week 11, and the thai is STILL GOING. i am so stoked, not a single nanner....nowhere!

in an email i asked DM about coverage requirements and some other shit...i should prolly go get the email

ok here it is:
In regards to the usage of reverse I'd apply it once at flip; again in the fist week and once again in the second week. When flowering is initiated the male and female hormones in the plant are released and battle for dominance and expression. Hermies occur when the male homormes are just bellow the level of the female hormones. Reverse works by flooding the plant with extra female hormones. These elevated levels of female plant hormones prevent the male hormones from being expressed during times of stress. Since these hormones are released at the iniation of flowering its very important to apply the reverse at the start of flower so the male hormones can never get a foothold. I would see how applying reverse at the start and for the first two weeks of flower work out for you before applying it closer to harvest. Personally i don't like to spray anything on my plants once they've started developing flowers as the waxy layer of a flower is a lot more complex than the waxy layer of a leaf. You shouldn't need that much reverse to cover your plants. Remember that anything more than a fine mist over the leaves is unnecessary so there is no need to soak the leaves untill they are dripping when using the reverse.

i have a sour d leaning cut of strawberry diesel that always hermis around week 5 and i use reverse on it.i usually spray it at around week 3,then 10 days later and it seems to work for me. i don't use the penetrator, just the reverse.not really sure how it'd work if you don't know if its going to hermi or not but i would imagine if you think it will, spray and it should do the trick
