Not the greatest drought resistance with all of the sativas, but certainly not too bad if you prepare your soil correctly and DEEPLY. But sativas would deff be the best direction for the heat. Read up on the process, and go for it! that is the beauty of these little plants, you can custom make your own strains for what your climate and medical needs are. Aint exactly easy, but it aint rocket science neither

You'd be way better off crossing your AF plants with another AF plant. Dont forget that u need several generations of crossings to stabilize the AF trait once u cross with a non-af. Several generations could take a while... Just my 2 cents. Have fun !

a full auto can be made in a year... getting it to the traits you want that's the part that takes time

and their is currently already an auto Durban Poison it is called mighty Durban if remember correctly Durban Poison x might might
