dumb 12/12 question and light leaks

I was wondering if occasionally opening your tent while the lights are off is enough to hermie the plants. For example, say lights were out but I wanted to smoke in the tent. Would this be an issue?

Well as long as you are chilling with no lights on then smoke away. And a few flashes of light shouldn't hurt a healthy plant.

Have heard that green light is acceptable for use in the dark period. Haven't tried it myself.

Just make sure the room itself is dark before you go into the tent to smoke. Makes it hard to find your way yes, but it saves you from hermies. I just had two plants hermie on me because a little tiny bit of light was bouncing through the vents from the veg chamber. It didn't take much light at all.

i forgot to add... do not smoke in your tent... It blocks the stomata and clogs up the breathing apparatus of the plant. I know it's cool to smoke with weed plants, but you wana end up with a high yielding weed plant, and smoking does not help.

guilty . i do it in my drode in attick . sometimes i cant toke for this or that reason and goto my room as it has extracrion and filter . on the in the dark front . it is a very good idea to actually b able to b in there with lights out to check for light leaks . personally i think of it like giving no more light than the moon would / nuthing direct or radiant to hit my ladies
