Dubman's Seed to Bud SOG

Hey this grow was inspired by a couple of grows here. I got a couple of trays that im gonna do a very short veg and then flower them. Hopefully I get a yeild at least the size of my last grow (2.5 oz) in only like 2 and a half months or so.
I got 2 trays one have regular seed and the other has Feminized seed.



This is the regular seed. There are 8 Hollands Hope from dutch passion and 4 white skunk from white label. I thought this would be a good grow to use up the Hollands hope since I dont ever plan to grow outside and this method might keep them manageable. These will get flowered a lot younger than the others cause they share the same room



This is the feminized seed. The 3 biggest are just some random seed i got out of a bag of dank a while back. Im guessing it was hermi shit. Ill keep an eye on all this tray but i dont really mind a few seeds as long as its just a few. This grow is really just holding me over until I can get a mother clone cabinet set up and grow out my good seeds The 5 other smaller plants are bubblegum x white widow feminized. The plant these came from was a bubblegum pheno. There is one other small plant in the very center and its just a random bagseed.



Well Hope I dont catch too many complaints from this. I mean on the method or the crappy seed. Lol Its an experiment so why use good seed. I want to prove this method works well to myself and maybe test out some sog techniques for when i get the clone cabinet setup.

Man, it's all good! You have a nice selection of seed, I'm appreciating tray growing more each week with folks like GrowDoc sharing their experience. Gonna be a nice ride, I'm pullin up a seat!

Dub if you have a good eye you can catch and pinch off most of the nanners, a few seeds never hurt in the buds i dont think either mate,but its all personal prefernce i dont think any one is gonna give you shit, everyone grows differently

Cool thanks for the good word yall! Leeroy, This is just personal so seeds are no biggie as long as they are few.
If this works out half as good as growdocs grows then i will be happy. If i get 2.5 oz or arround there I will deem it a success since it will only be about half the time as my last grow and the same weight!

Stankbud thanks for stopping in again... And thanks for that favor your doing for me! If you ever decide to do the planter Im sure it will be a success. I think the only drawback to this method is all the seeds required. But you can solve that easily by using clones or breeding yourself.

Jetusup... DO IT MAN!!! Even if you dont do the SOG I would say to go get yourself a big ass blinding light. You wont regret it!

Hey I got a couple of pics. The feminized tray is coming along nice. Unfortunatly I didnt germinate everything at the same time
I didnt get the germination Rate I expected. Oh well I think I might have 1 tray Growdoc Style and the other Tic style. That would be a pretty cool side by side comparison. Now I need to figure out when to go 12/12 cause the feminized tray plants are gettin pretty big. I like the looks of the random bagseed... big ol fatty leafs. Any 12/12 comments would be good (especially if its growdoc)

no im probably gonna flower pretty quick. Hopefully Im gonna get an old dresser like thing from my buddy tomorrow and set it up for moms and clones. I think one of my Hollands hope plants is a tri-foliate so I want to veg it longer and use it for a mom if its a female if its a male I will use it to breed. But it could just be a mutant or something ill post a pic. But i really need to flower soon cause the bigger plants are gettin pretty decent size.

Theres 2 leafs growing out one side. Hopin it is! I want think if i could select for this trait I could get some high yeilders possibly. Anyone that has had a trifoliate tell me what you think. Ive only seen immortals and it was a lot older. Well I think im gonna get it big enough to clone at least and sex it then figure out what to do with it.

Well i think its just some kind of freak mutant might not be a trifoliate... I saw some pics of young trifoliates and they had 3 sets of the first true leafs and mine only has 2. Still a wierd growth pattern though... Wonder if it will naturally develop 3 tops or if that leaf is just mutated. I think ill post it in the infirmary even though its not sick maybe ill get a reply

Finally got my lazy ass buddy to get the shit out of his dresser and give it to me... He still has the top drawer cause its got "important" things in it. Oh well I was gonna make that the false drawer anyways so Ill get it from him and modify it later.




It fits in nice to my junky ass room.

Im working on putting my 107cfm blower in blowing into the drawer area. Right now the drawers except the top will stay as is for storage. The top drawer will be made into a light trap for the blower as well as where I store the electrical shit. Im using 3 25w CFLs for the top part and prolly 1 in the bottom for the clones.



The dimensions of the grow area are 15" x 17" x 3'8" So thats like 1.6 sq feet. I figure 75w would be good. Might do more or less... Anyone that has kept mothers imput would be good. Im thinking less light to make stretchy plants would be good so you would be able to take good long cuts. I plan to keep maybe 2-4 moms in there depending on how many I can fit Im thinking of using square pots if I can find them. Then Im gonna have a bubble cloner below. I read low light wattage is best for clones.

There will be passive intakes on the bottom in back of the cloning chamber. The same ammount of holes will be in the shelf. I havent decided if im gonna use PVC joints or not yet. Oh ya and i got some bad ass silicone caulk... Gonna do it up now!

Any suggestions or ideas??? there always welcome!!!

Yup NYCn00b I think it will make a real good mother clone closet. 1.6sqft for hopefully 4 moms at 2 feet or so and the same area for clones with of course less headroom.

Well im about to crash but Ive been workin on this monster all night. Im almost done actually! I need to let the caulk dry and the false drawer/storage/electrical/light trap area completed but that is all... And who knows when my lazy friend will get that drawer, Im amazed i got this thing so soon!!! Oh ya the lighting i pulled of increadably cheap! 3 25w CFLs for $15 $1 each for plug to socket converters ($3 total) and a $2.50 powerstrip. Thats 75w of real good CFL action installed for the low low price of $20.50 Really not that bad in my opinion. The blower was $15 on ebay and it freakin sucks... but in a real good way! 107 CFM in a 6sq ft space... Its increadible! I dont think heat or airflow will be an issue at all. And thats really all I baught for this so thats like $35 or so for a mother clone cabinet... and more drawers to get shit off my floor!!!

Im still open to ideas or improvements peoples! Or just compliments those are always nice!

Shot of the passive intakes at the back of clone area (Think i need PVC? Or some sort of filter like pantyhose to keep dust out? Light isnt really a concern and I checked the cabinet and you can hardly tell its lit in a dark room (other than where the blower is)
