Dubman's First Grow - 300w HPS LST!

What up? New here, well been readin for a week or so. Just wanted to log my grow here at IC. Lots of interesting folks here! Im also at PlanetSkunk and Overgrow under simmilar names

Ok my setup is a closet grow. Its in the corner of the closet taking up arround a 2'x2' area. I have 2 150w HPS lights and right now 5 soft white CFL's which I will be taking out one at a time in the next few weeks.

This is my first grow and its from seeds i found in various sacks of high grade shit. Next time i will be doing either white skunk or these 12 seeds i found in the same sack just to lessen the variability.

Anyways Im growing in 10" pots with miracle grow potting soil and pearlite. I havent really fertilized much thus far but I plan to step it up in the next few weeks as I flower. Im starting the 12/12 on 4-20 so thats like tomorrow.

The two biggest plants are 7 weeks old and are both females (they got preflowers) The other two are undetermined and about 2 weeks behind. Since i know the 2 biggest are females I will flower soon and not really care what happens with the smaller 2.

Im just gonna start the thread with pics i took a couple of days ago. This was at 6 weeks, One shot is of the garden, and the other two are the two biggest plants in the garden.

I really want to try hydro next time but im kinda scared about all the nutrients ph and whatnot... thats why i might not grow the White Skunk next time.








Hopefully i get some feedback if not its cool but whatever.

These are just bagseed of some sort... The two big ones are coming along great and smell real good close up! I dont know the exact strain but everyone is a female so far so thats what really counts!

Its only that bushy because i forced it to be that way. The whole plant right now is probably 5 inches max from the soil to the highest grow tip. We will see how big it gets in the next couple of weeks for flower. I dont plan on tying it down as much during flower... just to keep an even canopy I have no height restrictions

The two big ones are for sure females... The garden is a bit crowded now but im guessing that a couple of the smaller plants will be males and free up some space... if not they wont be too big of females.
Not many replys here... I admit there is not much to see right now but hopefully i will have some pics to brag about in a few months!

Wow crazy I dont know if its beginners luck or what but the 3rd day of flowering the 3rd biggest plant is showing pistols... SHIT 3 for 3 so far... Thats half the plants!!! I got them out of a real high grade sack that had a couple of seeds (Could the possibly be self fertilized and feminized?) Oh well whatever they are im happy... We will have to wait and see what the other 3 are but they will probably show in the next week or so. I dont know what I will do if there all female I guess the smallest 2 will have to stay in small pots!

trying to think of a way to get the plants in smaller pots more room for the roots without actually transplanting....would it be possible to cut the bottom of the pot off and leave the sleeve on and set the root end down on another pot of the same size filled with soil? BOG uses a similar method of double potting, except he removes the sleeve I believe, and goes into a bigger pot...well maybe ( hope not tho} they will show male and fix the problem themselves. 3 for 3 female is freaking A GREAT dubmantx

ya 2 of the big pots i might be able to cut... but I dont know cause it would be like trying to go from big pots to smaller pots and that might be a bitch... Im just gonna wait it out and see what happens... worst case I have a buddy i can donate a plant or two to or possibly i can grow them outside... Trained plants tend to draw less attention from the neighbors than a 6 foot bud plant! Plus i dont really have many neighbors that could see it!!!

I got some pics of my plants today just a few... Im trying to do a close up of the forming buds but this pic was the best I could do. Got 1 pic of the biggest plant. 1 close-up of the biggest plants biggest cola, and a pic of the whole garden. So far its going GREAT! Im thinkin about going into the city this weekend and picking up some high p and k guanno. We will see anyone got any guano recomendations?

Nice lil bushes.. I think LST rocks myself.
We are trying it also with apolloxhaze.. But we are keeping the main stem
running along the ground.. Like a vine. It looks pretty crazy.. canpoy is pretty even. keep up the good work.. Ill check back..peace..

2 Weeks Flowering!

2 Weeks Flowering!

Hey this is really 1 week 6 days but tomorrow is my bday so i dont know if ill have the time to post take pics etc. I got p.mildew all over the 4th biggest plant so i moved it outside. I transplanted one of the smaller plants to take its place. No sign of mildew anywhere else maybe that plant was just sensitive or something???

"plant #4" - used to be plant #6 i guess. Its got a fat long stem like a sativa but the leafs look indica so beats the hell out of me. Hopefully some of the smaller branches grow a bit more.




Plant #5. This guy has an interesting story. It was retarded as a seedling. It took it like 2 weeks to grow the first set of true leafs and it still looked like a seedling at a month. Im a real tough parrent and i make my retarded daughter stay in the small pot. 6" pot haha and its flowering. Whatever... i give preference to the non-retards... i even transplanted the youngest plant (#6) instead of it... but its trained a lot better and that had a lot to do with it.

A little shroom grow i got started today(not literally)! Just got em out of a 48 hour cold shock the first flush should be done in 2 weeks
