bake at 420 until nicely toasted
This is a report on the smoke from my latest indoor grow
http://www.icmag.com/ic/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=65#
entitled "a little help from my friends" So named because all of the beans came from IC friends. I must again thank those folks for making that grow...and this report possible.
I'm writing this fairly baked, as I just had to sample some of each for accuracy's sake
I like indicas! Even though I can also enjoy a good sativa, I do tend to go for the heavier indica strains.
My next grow will have some sativas in it, but this one was all indica.
The Sour Bubble and G13 are textbook indicas for those that like that sort of thing.
First off...the Sour Bubble Bx2..
Upon breaking up these dense pretty nugs, a strong aroma enters the room. Very flowery, somewhat menthol...slightly like Pine Sol.(in a good way)
Smell being a big part of taste, you think "this is gonna be tasty" Well you're right..it is!
Lighting up this very resinous bud, it's quite an expansive smoke and will quickly fill the lungs with thick blue clouds.
it's immediately apparent how tasty this bud is....hmmmmm
Upon exhaling, I'm amazed at how much smoke keeps on rollin out of my smoke hole. Quite the cloud.... but pretty smoothe for the short cure...no coughing. Also for the short cure, the taste is amazing. It really hits on the exhale. hmmmmm piney...citrusey...kinda menthol...with a slightly sour or mediciney after taste. Deeeelicious!!!
Some of the tastiest bud I've smoked for sure.
The buzz... a good indica buzz, but not as heavy as others such as Afghani that I've smoked. Still able to function..although I wouldn't go operating a forklift. A good all around buzz that hits in the body as well as the head. Much more headie than most indicas I've had. Very relaxing, very happy smoke.
Usually most "decent weed" will take me 3 bong hits to get nicelt buzzed. This stuff leaves me nicely toasted after only 2 bingers. Quite potent.
I very much enjoyed growing, smoking, and sharing the Sour Bubble Bx2. In fact, every one I shared it with loved it and commented on how tasty it was
I liked it so much, the Bx3 is poking it's little heads above the soil as I type
And now the G13....
I had more plants of the G13 than I did the SB, so I saw some variation, but not a lot.
One had a slightly fruitier taste, one had a slightly muskier, spicier taste, but they were very similar. HOWEVER...one plant in particular stood out. I call her Frostillicus. Ol Frosti threw out tons of trichs in the final week or so of flower and was just white with frost...MUCH more so than the other 3 G13s. That's the one I'm smoke reporting on... AND keeping as a mother
Dense...frosty buds...SO frosty and sticky...wow... making my hands all sticky from breaking this stuff up.
It's pretty stinky....skunky, piney, kinda fuely slightly like burning rubber.
Frosti has much more scent and taste than the other G13s, but still even she wasn't as tasty as the Sour Bubble.
The taste of the G13 was somewhat skunky, musky,..that kind of heavy, greasy fuel like taste. Good smoke, just compared to the SB.... not near as flavorful.
The buzz from the G13 is much heavier than the Sour Bubble. This is not to say that it's a stronger buzz or more potent pot...it's not. The SB is definitely more potent, but the G13 is a much more sedative, couch locky, lay you down kinda smoke. Got any insomnia issues? Try some G13! It'll pin ya down like a professional wrestler! Serious nightie-night stuff!
I loved em both. I'll be growing the Frosti G13 again, and going with Bx3 of the SB instead of Bx2 next time out.
Next time, just to keep the ol head balanced, I've got a sativa in the mix again. Last time it was Sativa Mexicana. This time it's Bangkok Betty Thai.
I hope you've enjoyed my smoke report. I hope you yourself try growing out one of these fine strains, especially the SB.
Stay safe, and keep em green!
