DTW with tophats & octobubblers, critique my setup

Trying to get my drip system in place... 3 tables, 6 coco beds total. One octobubbler per bed (8 drippers each).

I am trying to pick a pump... Im in between:

Simer 1hp Utility

or

Simer 3420P 2 HP Spinkler System Pump

2hp might be a little overkill for 48 drippers... but I want even waterings and I will have a ball valve to each tray so I can adjust the flow.

I already have an inline filter for sediments... What else might I need, check valve etc?

youll also need a non return valve to keep the lines primed at all times and also look at getting a anti syphon valve or if you cant find 1 of those you can use a tap.

do you live in a hard water area? if yes you might consider using drip clean by house & garden, helps keep lines clean and ment to prevent salts build up in the media.

are you using topspin drippers or diy?

theres a very useful thread in the growing in coco section by 100gramounce that about 2 years old, 31 pages long and still active dedicated to drippers dtw in coco.

you should check it out some very good knowledge there and maybe ask your question over there.

peace.

2x 90gal tall cylinders... I mix a batch of nutes in one and RO in the other, float valve tops off the nute res constantly

those sump style pumps are hard to fit through the top openings, and with a non-submerged i can pull from the bottom drain ball valve

do i need a nonreturn if the pump is self priming? i cannot seem to find any decent ones in 3/4"
