Drying question.

I have a Homebox S set with 300m2 carbon filter and 125mm-225m3/h tube fan.

The problem is that the growroom still has plants in it and has 12/12 cycle going. Can I hang the herbs there and not care about the light or do I have to build a dark place for them inside the homebox? How about if I place a simple closed bucket in the homebox that has air holes in the bottom and I hang the herb on top.

There might also be a heat problem in the homebox atm. (86-90f) because of really hot weather. Does it matter in drying? I dont know the humidity levels, probably low.

Im pretty much looking for the safest solution so that no mold appears.

Hi marmorikoira,
You put a lot of effort into this grow I assume. So treat the dead girls with respect and give them a cool dark place in which you are to mourn them for 5 to 7 days ;)

Build a cardboard box with air vents. Try not using a fan. The slower the dry the better just keep an eye on humidity.

Sum's got you on the right track. I'll only add that 5-7 days may work in sum's area but, may not work in yours. Those in Seattle will want to hang longer than those in Phoenix.

Hey thanks FreezerBoy, you are absolutely right. This is where you need to play it by ear based on regional climate. LoL I can only imagine humidity levels in the rainy city..

U should dry your buds in a DARK and CHILLY place. Temps should be around 65 / 67 F and humid 45 % given or taken. Never try to dry your grass in a very humid hot and light place. You have waited too much so don't screw up in the end.
Cheers
