hello , i was wondering how long you folks dry your bubble on the card board for . i pressed it lightly ,crummbled it on cardboard . it seems very dry . thanks alot

Same thing really. Whether you break it down or cut it up or leave it whole. The cardbord sucks the moisture out of it slowly. I usually cut mine up into rows and then recompress it once it has dried. There are many ways to skin a cat.

Oh ya and it usually takes between 12-24hours to dry.

thanks , i think it best to make it into powder . i normaly dry mine for 4 days . i was just wondering if im going overboard on the drying.

I think its all personal preferance. You can break it down as much as you want or not at all. I think that's is the beuty of the product, you cant fuck it up at all.

SimpleMan...i did my first run couple of wks ago...very impressed. I found out that the bubble got stronger and tastier as the days went by. When i crumled it into a joint i could still feel moisture in it. Also...in Mel Franks book...he says about weed,ie trichomes "let it dry from its wet, non-phsychoactive form to its dry phsychoactive form...meaning its not reaching its full potential when wet.

I found 4 -5 days is needed. It can be smoked more or less straight away (well bout 12 hours) but imo its best fully dried.

we just orderd ice-o-lator bags..hoping to get the hang of it....if i like the final outcome i deff plan on getting the bubblebags....the only problem is i dont know where to get bubblebags(except for online thru canabisculturemag - is that a good way to go for delivery in the usa?), and their kinda expensive....but i figure if i get some decent hash outta the ice-o set...il be dying to getg the bubblebag set for sure

....anyways...wht do you guys think about the honey bee extractor? and what kinda butane should you be using for this?

drying bubble

the drying time on cardboard is really dependant upon how well you break up the resin to dry in the first place. Placing large chunks of hash on cardboard will not dry it. The hash needs to be powderized and spread thin over the cardboard. If this is done, then a 24 hour period will suffice.
The hash you posted looks very nice simpleman, congrats on a job well done.
As for crunk, the bbags, are well worth the investment, especialy cause the 45u and 25u alone will pay you back the money you spent on them. You can get them from many source's but idealy go right to www.bubblebag.com

thanks for checking this thread out people. also thanks for the compliments . i had bought the bubblebags about three years ago .the best investment i made i must say . the quality of the hash you make is just insane. as a long time outdoor grower i look forward to spending days making bubble .i got the 5 gall kit .the quality of the bags are very much worth every cent i spent . well take care . simpleman

ill be uploading pics of my last 2 plants ill harvest...one of them is a 45 inch sativa dominant..with almost3 ounces of bud....im going to turn that entire plant into hash...ill be taking any suggestions as to how i should process that actual buds for ice-o-lator hash making....im almost positive i should freeze the bud matter at least 4 or 5 hrs prior to using the hash bags..but should i completely chop up the buds in a food processor or coffee grinder?? or jsut lightly cut the buds into peices??? im obviously going to use bone dry leaf, plant and bud material...any fe4ed back would be great

can any of you tell me how to use my actual buds(like should i grind em up alott or a lil?) to make ice water extracted hash??? im hessitant to say bubble hash because i wont be using bubble bags initially(altho i wish i could have afforded them)..any help would be awesome _*_*_ thanks _*_*_ crunkz

hey crunks, how are ya.im sure your ice-o-lator will work out just fine .i normally just use leaf material when making hash.but i do use my moldy bud when making hash. i just put them in a brown paper bag till they are bone dry. then i take the bud off the stems. its so dry it crumbles . then i freeze it . then i start to make it . so the buds are semi crumbled then when i mix the buds with the mixer they break down even more . i use all 7 bags i got & i get different grades . the grade in the picture is the 45 mil. hope i was some help . oh ya nice grape punch pictures looks like some nice smoke .take care........... simpleman

Do you mean that customs wont care if I ship them internationally. What about if I have them in my car while comming back to the states from vancuver?

THC, I don't know why customs will care.

They are food extraction bags and have many more uses than just making bubble. I've used them to strain fruit, I'm making a batch of while with them, gonna make some rice milk and see what other sorta use I can get out of them.
