Drug testing...Synthetic Urine...Or...Your Friends Real Urine... That is the question

I saw alot about this subject on other sites. But not much here.

In my personal experience i have only takin the standard doctors

office dipstick, and I have no doubt in my mind that synthetic

urine will get you through this type of test without a problem.

The question that I propose is why not just get a (clean) friend

to pee in the container that most synthetic urine companys

use, heat the way they do, and vuala... no need for syn thetic

urine.

• So... does regular urine go bad ( synthectic doesn't... I think)

Yes, regular urine does go bad, it only lasts for a day or two before it goes rancid (and trust me, they WILL know if you go in with days old piss!)

Real urine can be heated, but it accelerates the decomposition process too.

For these reasons, this is why I use only synthetic urine. It has been lab tested with no problems whatsoever, just make sure to buy a reputable brand. Oh yeah, one other thing, labs are getting wise, so make sure you find a 3 ounce bottle, not a 2 oz. The line they want you to fill to is now slightly over 2 oz, FYI.

If you can get your friend on call for the day of your test, real urine is the way to go.

Have it in a bottle, and get a set of hand warmers

Find yourself a digital thermometer and do a few practice runs with your own urine.

The tests have a few quality control methods...
- Heat strip (measures the temp of the sample which must be between 90-100 deg F.)
- Visual test for clarity and color. 2 day old urine, might fail
- Creotine levels will get out of wack with old urine, and if you take certain drinks and supplements.

By using a fresh sample from your friend, you've beaten the 2nd and 3rd quality control tests.

If you can keep the sample above 90 (which isn't a problem with your hand warmers, a few pairs of tighty whities, and the fabulous 'gooch' pocket you're good to go. With this method, I kept my clean sample at 96 deg F for 2 hours and passed with flying colors during the middle of winter (below freezing).

The only foolproof way to go, assuming you aren't testing for a PO or someone who is looking right over your shoulder. If it is for a job, simply tell them you are uncomfortable and can't go with them staring at you. They have no reason to suspect you and not give you that small amount of privacy.


Best of luck, but from my research, it seems go with fresh clean urine or a reputable synthetic brand. Freezing or trying to keep a real sample fresh for any period of time is asking for issues... Some labs test for synthetics now in certain states, so be warned. On top of that, some companies won't ship to certain states either...
