droopy'ness? why?

one of my plants all the leaves are very droopy, and curl at the tips just slightlyd, i dont know why its all so droopy? over watering? i only water once every 4-5 days, and the plants a month old.

no yellowing on the leaves, just droopy'ness? maybe it needs a transplant? its in a 1 gallon rubdermaid. and its about a foot tall

its the one on the right, its a little bigger now but still the same prob.
also, it looks as if there isnt enough dirt in the pot, but within a day of taking that pic i topped it off and its now full to the brim and has been for a while.

transplant into a lil bigger container if youw ant.. if not she looks like she might need a lil more water.. i mean if you are watering her every 4-5 days in that lil thing she is starving and hit her with a little small dosage of nutes mainly nitrogen i thinhk this will help perk her up a bit.. otherwise how far from the light is she??what kind of soil are u using? what are the temps and or relative humidity? yeah wind or ventilation?? i mean it could be heat related also...

light: 70 watt HPS 2-23 WATT CFLS
vent: pc fans(around 50-60 fm)
temp: 80F
room size: 20"w x 12"D x 32"H
soil: hyponex potting mix with no ferts.
nutes: half dose every 3 waterings

i use bottled water to water it.

definetly not heat related 80F tops on hot days, right now its 76 degrees in the box.

my light is about 6 inches away, and my cfls 2 inches away.

Half strength of what kind of fertilizer (be specific about ingredients)? You don't know ph? You can test your ph by doing this: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=32760 There is also a link for adjusting the ph of the water after adding fertilizer. You should be doing this for best results. You also should be feeding dilutely with every watering. Is there dolomite lime in your soil or does your fertilizer contain calcium and magnesium?

shults veg ferts, NPK has em all. what works best for me and always has at this stage in growth is ferting every 3 waterings at a dilute concentration. when they get bigger they get dilute ferts every water but like every experienced grower will tell you, jumping right into ferts will result in nothing but bad things. everything i use is ph'ed and in the past using the same materials ive gotten a safe ph rating. dont see how it could be any different this go around, but i will test again for the purpose of maybe im wrong.

im thinking its rootbound and maybe a little starved, so i ferted nicely a few hours ago, and im going to re-pot within the next few days and we'll see what happens.

You never said if your soil contained dolomite lime. I don't think shultz contains calcium, magnesium, or sulfur. If the soil does not contain dolomite lime, you should add 1/4 teaspoon powdered gypsum + 1/4 teaspoon epsom salts per gallon of water along with the shultz everytime. If it does contain dolomite, you should still add the gypsum/epsom every third or fourth feeding to boost cal/mag levels. Using gypsum or epsom salts also supplies the plants with needed sulfur.

Like I said, you should adjust the ph of your water after adding the fert. at least using aquarium ph test strips from a pet store or similar.

If your feeding 1/2 strength every third watering maybe try 1/4 strength every watering instead. This is called clf or constant liquid feed. You would adjust fert water ph so this keeps the soil ph steady instead of high ph bottled water only with possibly 7+ ph. Ph in soil and water should be 5.6-6.2

If you cannot find powdered gypsum, you can substitute calcium nitrate at the same rate. This would add nitrate nitrogen and would not really be the best thing during flowering if your trying to reduce that.

Out of curiousity, which flavor of "Shultz veg ferts" are you using? There's over 60 fertilizers made by Shultz and they're all different in their nute makup.

BTW, your plant on the left is nute burned...I'm thinking you're getting an overdose of N on the bigger one to the right due to the twisting leaves and slight clawing...

the plant on the right has been corrected and is looking great figured the nutes were burning it and you just confirmed thanks. nice and green now new growth all over, almost as big as the other.

as for the shultz nutes its call all purpose plant food. 10-15-10 its the water soluable kind? ive use it 2 grows now with no hitches except now. so dunno.

i beleive it contains dolimite? i can double check that in the morning. if not ill be taking your advice sproutco thanks.

edit: half strength i mean as in half of lowest recomended dose. so 1/8 tsp per gallon so im not sure on too much N
