Well I was gonna say overwaterring... maybe you should fill out the chart from stitchs sticky and see if we can diagnose it. could also be underwaterring, do they perk up an hour after waterring? ph all good?

i filled out the chart. like it says, i dunno the ph, could be the problem. all the plants but the worst one perked up after watering to an extent i guess but not really noticably, it could be underwatering to be honest i am thinking due to my friend 00420's advice he said i am overwatering then letting them get too dry, so i am going to remove the drip catcher thing from the pots... water them until water runs out the holes in the bucket. and i think ill water them again lightly tomrow with 8 oz of water per pot. should I transplant to a bigger pot? they are in 1 gallon 8" pots now...

when the plant is lightweight dry turn it over and gently pull off the pot to see how the roots look, if they are many and going all on the bottom than you should repot into somethin bigger, water after checking. You should invest in a cheap moisture meter, only about 10 bucks and well worth it. looking again that pot size doesnt look to small for the plant size, maybe just check it to make sure.

OK I read your chart, that fan blowingdirectly on the plant could be making it hard to breath, is that plant the closest to the fan? sounds like your also overfeading, you should feed probly everyother waterring, and dont feed while the plants are dry or they will burn. you can get ph test strips for about 3-5 bucks and that would help you a lot, ph could very well be an issue as well. Hope this helps.

thanks man ill lower the fan speed, water every other time and i guess transplant becasue, it looks like there rootbound... i just don't wanna buy a bunch of pots for males if 2 are male and 2 female and i have 4 big pots thats a waste of money if u know what i mean.then again i don't want to transplant in flower, will they show sex before i put them under 12/12 or no? right now they have 8 nodes. also gotta check that ph, whats the best way to test it?

looks like a combination of things...but mostly they look thirsty in these pics...maybe you wait to long untill next watering ??
Also 85 is't the ideal temp ...they might also have heatstress...with those temps plants do drink more

and 1 gallon for 17 days of growth from seed...i don't think they are rootbound 2 be honest.....but i would repot to bigger containers when you flower them out..

the best way to test ph is probably with a digital/electronic tester, but a good way to test cheap is the way I said in the earlier post. with the meter just stick it in your nutrients after you mix um, or you could stick it in the soil right after waterring. with the strips you just dip a corner in the runoff out the bottom of the pot or in the mixed nuts, match the colors and go from there. They will show sex automatically after a month of growth, give or take depending on strain.

Last pic, bottom right corner, that plant wants a bigger home. The others might too, but they aren't yelling it as loud.

i looked at the roots of the one you were talking about and its mad rootbound after they dry out i will give them a flush then when they dry from that i will buy some 10 gallon pots these guys have another month or so to go, patience is a virtue- i am waiting until they show sex b4 i flower. how much longer should it take?

btw how could you tell?

I called Miss Cleo and she told me! Only $3.99 per minute! :joint:
Actually what you see in a rootbound plant is that soil chemistry gets weird, and even if you don't see OTHER symptoms, you will definitely notice that the leaf shape changes from perky and flat, to a rounded-under shape like a boat upside-down.

how big of a pot should i get and could they bare to go another week in those pots without reducing yeild?

i was thinking 5 but now im thinking maybe 10 gallons would be better. then again i don't wanna buy all thse 10 gallon pots and half turn out male... ya know? what should i do?

I got the same fuckin problem with my two soil plants. Puple on the stems, dropping, all that shit. I repotted them into some bigger pots just a minute ago, so we'll see if that helps. How long should it take after i correct the problem for them to perk back up. Like, when will I know if i solved it?

Norcal, I was thinking of ordering those same NL and WW beans. How were they?

Did you ever figure out what was making them plants droopy?

no idea why their drooping or purpling... must be some kind of nute lockout- but no one has said yet. i need to check my ph. i also will try to water with epsom salts maybe i need MG

edit: about the WW and NL i thought they were the best pot ive smoked so far but weed is so shitty around here so maybe i have nothing to comapre it too ( im in NY not nor cal right now)

so yeah i would say give the northern lights a try the WW was a bit harder to grow

It doesn't sound like lock out based on my experience. I had lockout in my hydro, the leaves started drying up and dying, but your guess is as good as mine. People been telling me overwatering, which i guess it could be, but i only water like once a week. Some shit about the roots at the bottom of the pot not being dry yet. Anyway, hope we can pull through.

what was harder about the WW? just more sensitive? that sativa in it makes it harder? How was your germ and M/F ratio's with the GN SB beans? I also wanted to try her K2 and one other one, i think it was ICE or AK48.

i just can't figure out why the damn things have purple stems i have read 100 different things it could be so im not sure and im sure its a sign of some sort of deficiancy i just am not sure what.

WW was just a bigger overall plant i only had 2 surving plants out of 20 from the deer and both were female. i liked the smoke from NL better and its size and managablity

I don't kno what GN SB seeds are....
