droopy, perky, over/under watering?? root prob??

Sorry don't have pics (no cam) but here is my problem. I got a few plants under 10-26w cfls in 6" x 6.5" square pots (1 gal i guess). They are about 3 weeks old and I've had them on 18/6 light schedule (switched to 12/12 today). Tallest one is about 8-9", another is about an inch shorter and the other is short but really wide. They look mostly indica, tallest looks like it has some sativa in it, and its a little lighter green. They have been doing great up until the past few days the leaves have been droopy. I watered them on Saturday and also moved the lights up a a few inches. On Sunday they were nice and perky agian like nothing wrong. Then I checked them today they were droopy again. Soil is a little dry at the top but when I stick my finger in a few inches it isn't as dry, not wet though. I can't figure out if I'm over or under watering. Is it normal for them to droop and then perk up and then droop again. peace:joint:

Pics would help but you might be underfeeding them. Really you cant take that as gospel but maybe check how much you are feeding.

Sounds like they may be root bound.... how big of pots are you using? What meidum are you using ... soil? Soiless? Brand of soil?

Normally plants droop for many reasons.... overwatering, under watering, also if they are on timed schdules like yours they can start to droop soon before the lights go out and stay droopy through the light period being off and perk back up after lights go back on.

Without a pic like cruzin has said it's hard to tell and we can only go by how you explain things too us.....

How often do you water your plants? How much water each? do you water until run off comes out the bottom of the holes?
Are there any discoloration in the leaves?

I put them in in these 6"x6"x6.5"tall containers after the first week. I wanted to use these through the whole grow and keep them smaller like 1-2' but it doesn't look like thats going to happen. I want them in these containers because I don't have a big grow space to put containers. I'm only workin with a 2.5' x 1.25' space so I can only fit 8 of these containers in there. I'm using some Miracle Organic Choice w/ about 25% perlite added. I also spread some worm castings on the top last week. The first few weeks I was only watering like once a week. Now that they are bigger they seem to be sucking up more water so I've been doin about twice a week. Last watering was on saturday and they looked nice and perky on sunday, droopy yesterday, not too droopy though, I've seen worse on here, but droopier than normal. I will probably water today if they look dry. I also put them on 12/12 so hopefully they show within a week or so. thanks for replys. peace:1help:

I'm not watering them today because they actually don't look as droopy as yesterday, maybe I was overwatering. Some of them do have what looks like a yellowish-orange burn spot on the bottom leaf or somthing, not real bad its just on the one leaf at the bottom. Oh, and I do have pics I'm just paranoid to post them.

well you should not let them veg too long then. Not to mention if you try to flower them like that your plants will become underdeveloped and not potent, your plants get stunted and nearly stop growing.

Well this site is one of the safest sites to post pictures on man, you see everyone else here posting pictures; it's alright to post trust me.

Pictures would help your problem out 10 fold, becuse there is lots of things that can cause your plants to droop....
