Droopy Leaves

Hello ICmag

I'm just curious if too much heat in the grow room would cause a plant to look droopy. There could be other factors that could cause this, but I ask if it's the room temperature as the entire room appears to be droopy and I had horrendous heat issues all day (around 29C!)

I have since then moved the lights away 6 inches or so incase it was too much light on the plants.

The plants are in DWC. I did think for a moment it looked like overwatering, so I was thinking perhaps my plants weren't getting enough air... but I doubt it because my mother plant has a very powerful air pump just to herself and she still showed signs of droop.

Yes. Heat can screw up the plants water balance causing them to droop. With that being said, 29 degrees is not that hot. What strain are you growing?

PK I think... and the room temps were way above 29 for the most of the day, in the high 30's peaking at 44... yes there was a vent leak >.> :(!

There aren't many strains that can take 44 degrees and not wilt. I hope that you have your ventilation issues straightened out.

Lol yea. Tell me about it. A piece of vent ducting came off of it's connector, so it was venting the heat back into the room for about 30 minutes. Doesn't take long! >.>!
