I just cut these c99 clones about 48 hours ago. I'm still a noob at cloning. should I be worried about these?

is this much drooping normal?

they r a little weak, but not hurting.
A dome would make them stand strong, even when theres no time to spray them.
Also, consider how much light they recieve...

ouch.

need higher humidity. put a dome on em, they won't wilt as badly. try to introduce less humidity each day.

good luck,

That's plenty of light for them as it is.

Since you don't have a large number all packed together, yes a dome would help out a bit there. (Unless your local humidity there is around 60% or higher?)

They should be great :)

thank you for the quick replies. you guys are awesome

there was a dome, but I realize now the problem is that my dome does not seal well with the tray. I will fix that.

is 42 watts of cfl about a foot away too much light? because it is most practical to keep them in my veg area

You dont need the light that close either... You could keep that CFL 6 feet above them and it would be better... They cannot really use much light right now as they have no roots... They just need some type of light source to root properly.

Ummmm.....maybe not.
Keep them close.
6 feet way too far.

^^Ummm... Not "way too far."

This is how I root my clones... I use a 54 watt CFL and keep it 4-6 feet above the clones.. I also root in water and use Olivias cloning gel. They will start to root within 7-10 days with daily water changes...

Ive seen clones root sitting on a window-sill.

You will just make rooting time increase by keeping the light close to them... They cant use that much light with no roots.

Maybe not 6 feet above, but definately dont keep the light "close." Try raising it a foot or two. It definately wouldnt hurt.

Indeed, when cuttings are exposed to light that's too intense, they spend less time rooting.

A dim light is really just peachy for the first 5 -7 days until they root.

When I was having trouble with my domes not sealing, I would tape the damn thing on and leave it for a week or so. Success every time. With a few at a time, they needed minimal air exchange...
Once I started doing large runs of 30+ per tray, they need more air exchange than that tho.
