Drooping Leaves? Hydro-DWC

I just started growing my first plant with a little help from a friend. He supplied me with the materials, nutrients, etc. to get started with a Hydro "DWC" setup. The plant looks healthy for the most part, no burn marks or other signs of nutrient deficiency. Here are my specs:

PPM: 450-500
PH: 5.8
Water Temp: 18.5-20°c
Room Temp: 74-78°f

I'm about 3 weeks into the grow and I'm not sure what the problem is. I also have two air stones running in the bucket. Amother friend said overwatering? But with DWC, is that possible?

Any tips/advice is appreciated! :)

Are these plants 3 weeks in veg or flower? Are they from seed or clone? Whats the lighting schedule? Indica?sativa? 50/50hybrid? These can all make a difference.
If these are 3 weeks in flower, unless you are running a pure equitorial sativa, those PPM's are pretty low. Lots of people run dome strains from clones at 1000 PPM at the beginning of veg and go up to about 1600 PPM. We need more info to answer your question.

I started it from seed. It's 3, maybe 4 weeks into the grow. As far as sativa or indica, I'm not positive. I came across the seed in bag of herb. The light cycle is at 18/6 right now.

Sounds like you might have some root rot. Take a look at them. This time of year and all thru summer it is a hurdle especially if your dwc is not recirculating. They should be white and crisp. If they are brown limp or mushy there's your problem. Water temps in your bucket need to stay cool if you dip yer hand in and it feels warm, not good. Means there's less oxygen and pathogens develop easily and thrive.

Funny you mention that, there are a couple roots the have a browning tint to them. The water isnt circulating, but I have two air stones running off a good size pump. I also use a smidge of H202 each time I change the reservoir. And also, the water temp stays between 65-70°f

I wasn't using two stones before or the H202, and it seems the old roots are the brown ones. The new roots showing are nice, pure white. Does that plant take a while to lift itself back up?

Thank you for the help!

Sounds like you found your problem. When I was in dwc I got root rot and just switched to coco, so don't know the best way to handle it. H2O2 will help kill the nasties. You are gonna want to handle the dead roots somehow or they will cause more problems as they rot. Hygrozyme maybe, or cut the dead ones out is where my mind goes, but I'd research root rot in dwc or start a thread in hydro sctions asking tha best way to handle root rot.

Ok, thank you for the help. Any others that have input or suggestions, feel free to share. I will research root rot for sure.

VS, water temps in the rez are best around 68*F - 70*F this is when the water will hold good amounts of O2. Too cold, below 66*Fish and they stop growing as well... get one of these infrared thermometers, worth their weight in gold... http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=infrared
liking your nute regiment, could be 100-1500ppms higher but will work and PH sounds good. calibrate PH & PPM meters regularly. Its a great game once one learns, remembers and applies correctly all the rules and nuances. Good luck and learn about cloning, it would be a kick in the ass if that one seed is the holy grail of weed and you only get to have once. Happened to me. <asshole

EDIT: and if ambient temps are above ??? 72*F ish, res temps will be higher and your plants will limp along until RR gets too far out of control. can insulate rez from heat for a degree or two.
