I've lived in cali and dc and all kinds of other places...then i moved to a very rural town not too far from real ghettos of ATL and JAX and all the other bullshit cities. There is no doubt in my mind that there is real dank in the south. But no offense boondocks, you can shut the hell up. YOU dont know what the hell i'm talking about. Come to my town and find nug, seriously, try. I've lived here for 2 months, and its all little ghetto kids with stolen guns and meth, with a little weed on the side.

AB...I completely understand what you are going through...I had the exact same problem when I moved..

I moved to a spot that is rural, yet close to a large city...in the south, but not as far as you, I think.

My problem was that I am an OLD fart, lol, and I freaked a few people out, I think, when I asked about weed. I was working in a convenience store..and when people would but 1.5's, I would say..."it's 4:20 somewhere, huh?'or something like that.

I found my weed connections at a fast food restaurant where i work. The stuff is really expensive...80 dollars a quarter, but a pinner will stone the piss out of 4 people, and it smells the whole house up like skunk.

I remember the good old days BEFORE crack and meth...when one really could go down in the "ghetto" and actually get a decent dime bag...but that was about 30 years ago. We used to buy like 6 at a time...get about an ounce...that was high back in them days...an ounce of Columbian Gold went for $35-$40

But hang in there....surely you get a day off, you can visit your regular dude on his schedule...even if you gotta stay up or something...if you want it bad enough to go in the ghetto...you can handle losing some sleep.

i say the sucking cock thing because, in the ghetto, some dealers used to and still would lace weed with a good amount of cocaine or heroin. next thing you know you're wondering why this dealer's weed is the best shit and you can't stay away from it.

hopefully not tho. no one is advocating it. it's more of a "be careful because you never know" type of thing. this is something i'm personally very afraid of if i was ever to get weed from these dudes. i've seen what it does and how they use it to get you. it's a weapon/tactic/tool we all ought to be aware of and i wouldn't mind being constantly reminded! but, it all depends how others view it! it sounds like a security issue, just moreso health and less legal. if it is unacceptable to talk about it, even in preventative manner, then i will simply never type that word again, ya know!

I've been jacked in the ghetto. It's been many years though. I once had a good connection on the street near the DMV when I was delivering pizza. The guy always treated me right. Then one day I tried to hook up and he said he's not selling any more. Then a few months later I started growing my own and can't remember the last time I had to buy it. Unfortunately my mom asked me not to grow inside, and I've been out for several months. I don;t get the sudden urge to call up my buddy to get high, or run down to the hood for a fix.

That's what I take out of this thread. The guy seemed pretty desperate to get high.

I will admit that I am not working and don't have any money to buy weed if I wanted it, so the guy is "one up" on me there.
