Drip system

I don't like automation but for commercial growers drip watering systems save a lot of work. You could probably take a vacation with one of these but it would still be risky not having the garden checked on every other day or so anyways so I wouldn't bother with it. BOG ;)

Like bog said, its not easy get a pump feed to give exact amounts of liuid to soil, i can imagine over/underwater with a soil drip feed.
If u want an automated system, do a search on autopots.

Well if the plants have a good root structure, and are in a big enough pot, you can water them where they won't need another watering for around 4 days.
Also they do have water plugs, which will take care of small plants if you're gone for a few days. I'll have to dig up some around here, have no idea where I put them. I got them through the mail for a promo test, but forgot who the heck it was, as it's been years ago. But there just simple little plastic plugs you fill up with water, and they slowly drain into the soil, but were made for small plants.

I am also working on what I call 'Remote Watering'.
(Maybe I'll be on ArtBell??)

I am installing an RO kit in grow room W/local res (finally!) and already have a irrigation kit I got from BG Hydro some time back. Actually the res is un-needed except for adding nutes, for flush & just plain RO watering I will have a valve. But also considering using only the 3gal RO pressure tank & hand fert.

Growing under the stairs you need to be Houdini sometimes.

I can get Down,..... but I can't get back Up!
:D
I plan on just having a switch I can flip to wet the individual plants as I watch & hopefully tweak to the 9's.

I also want a switch I can flip to fill my humidifier tank as I watch.

I have most of the parts just need to get off my ass & do it.

Pictures here when it's done
