dried herb to hash conversion?

So im wanting to try out a few different recipes but most of them call for X amount of dried herb. Well i dont have any dried herb but i do have about 70 g. of fine blonde hash. How much hash should i use if a recipe asks for 1 oz. of dried herb? Also if i was to say double the amount would hash make it taste nasty like dried herb does? any help would be much appreciated.

For Good dried herb, about one tenth as much, or app. 3g.
For extra strong, use an 1/8th.
Exceed that?
