Dresser CFL grow

Hey guys,

Thought I would share my current setup

Dresser-13 1/2"W x 23 1/2"L x 48"H (1x2x4, 8 sq feet), primered and painted with flat white paint.

Lights- 4 Bright Effects 200w CFL (40 actual watts each) 2600 Lumens each.
160 actual watts total, 10,400 lumens total
getting 250w HPS in a few weeks to finish off flowering

Can fit 5 3-gallon white poly grow bags, 3 bags in dresser right now

Soilless mix- 5 parts Peat Moss, 3 part Perlite, Earthworm castings, a little mushroom compost (mine), Bat Guano, and Molasses.

Strains- Bubba Kush S1's from Motarebel
Toxic Blue from Motarebel
Original Thai/Haze x skunk#1 from Sam Skunkman


Bubba Kush- Vegged for 25 days on 24/0, day 7 of 12/12
Toxic Blue- Vegged for 22 days on 24/0, day 7 of 12/12
Original Thai/Haze x Skunk#1- Vegged for 14 days on 13/11, 12/12 since then, 32 days old.



Left to right= Toxic Blue, Original thai/Haze x Skunk#1, BubbaKush S1's.
The one in the cup is a male Original Thai/Haze x Skunk#1(showed a few days ago)

Toxic Blue is very branchy also, all the way up to the top nodes are sprouting


BubbaKush S1's, Started branching before the Toxic Blue, but the TB caught up and said "im bigger Bubba"

So far, none have showed sex except for 1 of the 2 Thai/Haze(1 male, 1 unknown)
BubbaK is feminized, so no guessing that.
Just waiting on the Toxic Blue, I am very impressed with this one,

Once I get the HPS, I plan on moving the CFL's down below the plants to get light into the lower and middle of them,
I have no fans yet, but im ordering a couple of computer fans with adjustable speed controls for $10 at Office Max. heat isnt bad right now, but ima need it when I get the HPS.

After these flower out I am putting 1 gallon bags in for clones, I belive I can fit 15 bags in there then. i will be cloning the BubbaKush and filling up the dresser with her.
If the toxic Blue turns female, Ill take a clone and use it for a mother so I can throw 7-8 clones of BubbaK and Toxic Blue in.

I have never cloned before, but I think I can do it, "I think I can, I think I can" LOL
Will they root in Peat Moss just fine?

Anybody have any experiance with these strains?

Today my other Thai/Haze x skunk#1 showed female,

1 female, 1 male Original Thai/Haze x Skunk#1
1 Bubbakush S1's (not showed yet)
1 Toxic Blue (not showed yet) Come on TB, be good to me.

A little update on my setup,

I added another 200w (40 actual w) CFL,
so now I have 5 200w (40 actual w) CFL, which sums up to

200 actual watts with 13,000 Lumens total

Cost total for 5 CFL's from Lowes equals $43.60 with tax, $8.72 each

I bought a 80mm computer fan with 3 speed setting from office depot for $12, hooked it up with a universal adapter that I had laying around, switchable from 1.5 volts to 12 volts giving me 10 speed settings total.












There starting to strech noticably every day now, day 10 of 12/12, I think the BubbaKush is starting to form preflowers, cant really tell yet. the Thai/Haze is getting huge, I could totally see how these things would get 20-30 foot tall.
The Toxic Blue is the bushyest plant ive had to date, the bottom branches have split into 2 tops now, never seen this before. I can tell alotta work went into these genetics, mad props Mota.

You may notice ive been take some of the fan leaves off, I normally dont do that, but since im using CFLs im trying to get as much light as possible to the branches, them fan leaves are so friggin huge its insane.
doesnt seem to slow them down at all. the branches are all growing just as fast on both sides, one side has a fan leaf the other doesnt, no differance in growth. If anything its making them branchier(either more light to the middle, or its pushing out leaves due to missing the main fan leaf)

well, I was thinking how I could get my babes to strech out some. I noticed the leaves really never point upward, so I figured they were getting enough light. I raised the lights to 11 1/2" from the tops to see if I could get them to stretch, mabey theyll tell me when they need a little more light thru the leaves, they have plenty of leaf nodes, just compact as hell.

ill give it a week and see what they tell me, once they stretch to a certain point ill lower the light back down to right on top of them to focus on bud production

Toxic blue still hasnt showed yet, been 15 days 12/12 I belive.


Is anybody reading this? LOL

Hey guys,

The Bubba vegged for 25 days and the Toxic blue vegged for 23 days under 24/0

they are some leafy ladies, It looks like the TB is gonna be female, but I really cant say yet, I should know tomorrow.

after a few hours of the light being on I noticed 2 hairs just starting to poke out.

Getting bigger, the Bubba S1's still havent showed hairs yet, but has pre-flowers, im starting to think its gonna be hermi or male.
