i was drinking a ton of Ginkgo IQ from Yogi Teas (liek 4-5 bags a day) a little bti ago
normally, i dont really recall dreams so well since i usually fall asleep high, but when i was drinkign that stuff everyday, holy shit! I was dreaming in perfect clarity and I could remember my dreams so well when i woke up...and i would go to sleep even after smoking a bowl...but if i smoked and waited like 1.5-2hrs and went to sleep it was even better...
i have had some crazy dreams from falling asleep drunk though
melatonin certainly can cause some ****ed up dreams
calea zatechichi (the dream herb) can also cause some crazy dreams/improve dream recall/lucidity...esp when mixed with psychedelics...

Verite gave a to-the-point definition of what dreams are or aren't (kind of made the other posts excessive, including this one).

You do dream even after smoking cannabis, you just don't remember it. It is generally concidered that you remember - at best - only about 12% of your dreams (the part closest to awakening), so you miss out on most of your dreaming anyway, drugged or not.

By all means write down your dreams, it will perhaps help you to understand more about your own emotional life, desires and despairs (Sigmund Freud observed that sex-deprived women in the Austrian fin-de-siecle upper-class society often dreamt about snakes. Hmm, let's see now, what could the snake signify?), but not much else.

Well, that's the official version. In reality, dreams are just a temporary reconfiguration of the Matrix.
