Drain pump malfunction in ebb and flow buckets left roots in water help

So my drain pump malfunctioned in my ebb and flow buckets leaving the roots in hydroton in water for about 10 hours. Now they are very droopy =( I know I should dry them out, but is there anything else I should do? And how long would it take to dry out hydroton? Thanks in advance!
