These are supposed to have red sap in fifty percent.
Can't help it, I need to see red sap for myself. Forgot to move seedlings closer to light and they're leggy. All are doing well and I got 7 seedlings from 6 seeds.
Thanks for sharing your garden with us friend. I like those red blood plants, they are cool. Back in the day, we called them Royal Blue Bloods. I'm riding with you for a while. Keep us posted.
I just picked up a pack of these and Sticky Finger Maui True Blood.. Since you got this one I watch yours and I'll pop a few True Blood for this years outdoor grow.
Needed food so I transplanted, not ideal but too busy to get to them later. I'll top to peek at sap color in a few weeks, and will clone the lucky ones.
Nearly everything I grow and breed are novelties. I think sap with a different composition may offer unique dis/advantages for climate and pest pressure.
These plants are getting topped once a little bigger. It's interesting to see the differences in the plants despite being inflicted with the same growing conditions.
I'll try to take a better pic sometime later. Yes it is what it looks like: a hair growing out of the pollen sack. This was the male(?) I liked best, I have to cull it now. Glad I kept a male #2 clone.
Of the 3 plants with red sap all were male I guess. Time to pop more beans.
