Dragging fabric pots?

I was wondering if i can get away with it or if it would be to much stress? I have some pretty big plants in 30's and they are really bunched/crammed together probly less then 5 feet from plant to plant and would like to spread each a couple feet ferther apart, now they are sitting on old holes we used from last years outdoor with nice soil under the bags. If i move them they will just be sitting on normal dirt will this be ok? I know it will be heavy as hell i watered this morning plus i have cages around each plant. Im sure there are a shit ton of roots under each bag, just wondering if it would be to much stress on them if i dragged them a couple feet? Thanks

OH yeah, I have dragged my 30s no problem. You will notice the roots have grown through the bottom so it will tear them as you pull the pot off its spot. I didn't notice any stress from moving mine a few feet. Good luck. :rasta:

I ended up dragging em, a few were stuck pretty good with roots growing through in the soil beneath the bag. I need to prune/lollipop the inner stuff out now. Y'all think i should give them a rest for a few day's, or just goto town on the bitches? Thanks again

i decided to bury my 30-45gal smart pots 2/3 in native clay soil, i dragged em around a bit while digging holes, honestly im hoping it thinned the bottom fabric out since i ammended the bottom of the holes the pots sit in, I've heard that roots will grow through smart pots on the bottom, not so much the sides though

i dont know about a whole season of constant moving around, i could see them wearing out, but a few feet here and there = no problem imo,

move em wen dry and shimmy them from one side to the other, way easier...

Yeah they are close to 8 feet from bottom of the bag to the main top and probly 12 feet + around, I took cuts on some smaller branches bellow the main canopy so it bushed out like hell. I ended up tying all the main tops down to the top of the cage around each plant to open up the inner stuff on the big tops and to keep it below the 8 foot fence

When you guys clean out all that lower growth and inner stuff that isn't getting light do you take off little fans. I been going underneath pinching all little bud sites off that won't receive any light should i leave each set of little fan leafs on each site? My buddy tries to say and leave them even though its under the canopy and gets no light on it at all so it makes no sense to keep it on right? Thanks

So i guess ill keep plucking away under the canopy, what about the big monster fans that are on the main branch? i had a few on each plant that kinda yellowed out some i pulled those already but what about the others? i heard they are like a solar panel? thats only if its receiving light?
