I use mineral water at 5.8 ph@800 ppm

Taken from this thread:
http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=73225&page=2&pp=15

First why did you delete some of the posts from that thread?

We told you from the last thread you posted to get rid of the water you were using; first you told us it comes out at 300 ppms now you tell us 800 ppms

We can't help you if you do not give us the proper information we ask.

You have posted serveral different TDS readings of your water.

Mineral water has lots of additives toss it and stop using it. They also add sodium to it which is totaly bad for plants.

I first thought about an overfert so i flushed the soil.
But now i have two different ideas:

No one told you in the other thread that you had an overfert issue; now that you flushed the coc you just rinsed out lots of nutrients in the water and I can see your plant is just starting to get a magnesium issue in the first pic; see those yellowing areas around the veins? Veins are green...... you first need to get magnesium into the gal.

Another thing.... why keep asking for help when you are not going to listen to the peeps who are trying to help you. There was 5 people who tryed to help you out in the other thread.

Not trying to reem you; but we take our time in helping people and if you are not going to listen to us let us know so we can help someone who needs help and is going to take the advice we give.

I understand you do not speak english very well; but

Canna advice not to put the nutrients under light. Altough i don't put the nutrients under light i put the ferted water in the room under light so the water reach the room temperature and don't harm the roots. Maybe this destroy the nutrients and so the plants are suffering underfert?

You can just mix the nutrients; warm water is a no no even watering in soil; you want to use cold water. Do not let them sit out just mix and water them. I think your main thing here is you are using bad water, we do not know the real TDS because you first was using tap water now you use mineral water and have given 4 different TDS readings.

The twisting could be caused by ph some leaves may mutate but you can't do anything about that.

As for the yellowing you are talking about; that is magnesium.

Try keeping your run off around 5.5 to 5.8
Plant does not like that ph a bit.. get it to stay down a bit.
Do you know how to adjust your ph?
Do you have cal mag by any chance?
Since you flushed them you rinsed a lot of the nutrients the coco held so your plants need this:

Get rid of using mineral water; use distilled or bottled water or RO ( reverse osmosis) Tap water that has a filter.

If you use distilled or RO water you will need to use cal mag supplement as those have no calcium or magnesium.

Right now your plants need magnesium; get some cal mag and feed it to them.

anyhow: I always read that before ferting the babies you have to let the water sit so ppm and ph stabilize.

Am i wrong?

That is only for nutrients like earthjuice and a few others.

mineral water and bottled water is not the same; they both contain different stuff depending on the company.

Damn 20 years for one joint ****ing insane; I thought US laws were draconian.

ok i use bottled mineral water

it contains sodium :( (2 mg/L). It has 20 mg/L Calcium and 2 mg/L Magnesium.

NO NOT anything with mineral water; see I told you contains sodium!
You do not want that!!! sodium is the first that plants uptake and it causes like a lockdoor for plants not to absorb nutrients properly. SMall amounts will cause issues

Use something that just says WATER; do not use anything with added ingredients.
Bottled water is fine as long as it has water only.

ph causes curled leaves, but there are other things that can cause it too; but in this case I think a few issues were the cause. One your water.....
2 ph issues...

so yes you have it down now

a) Water: I'll look for some RO or demineralized water.

b) I'll buy some cal/mag @ my local growshop

c) Ph: i have to lower it? is the cause of my curved leaves?

Yes!! Perfect; you got it down now what you need to do to fix your plants :)
I want an update on these guys ok.

Since you flushed out your coco; your plants need some magneisium, the cal mag will fix that problem for you.
