Dr.Grinspoon

Sorry about the no pictures guys. I decided to write a report on Dr. Grinspoon from Barneys as it really stood out amongst everything else. It is a reputed 100% sativa with very stickly thin tiny balls of lime green. The high was crisp, motivating and very strong, from the first toke you can feel it creep up behind your eyebrows where it stayed for a good 2 hours, the smoke itself was light and easy to inhale, the tolerance did not creep in at all with Dr. Grinspoon, it put you away consistently each time and it made everyone i was with feel good about themselves, cleaning up your head if that makes any sense which made you focus your energy more on a plan even if that was just walking down to the shop to buy a can of drink. I can't put the smell into words, but it was earthy and green with a hint of floral perfume, not smelly at all compared with others. The price was outrageous at 17e per gram but it was worth it. Anyone know anything more about this expensive plant?

I know it takes a fucking long time to finish, something like 20+ weeks i heard from the guy in barney's lounge Adam. Was going to buy it but i got some royal jelly and g13 haze, very pleased with both.

yeah! the dr.grinspoon was a really strong sativa! had a g in the vaporizer at barneys tasted great and made me feel kinda light headed..hehe, but at that price range the sleestack at grey are was the best i tasted in the dam!! dunno if its a pure sativa..but the high was great!! also tried their ECSD and the OG kush, which was also very good!!

i've tried this weed as well, incredible smoke! a friend posted me some from Amsterdam, have never really seen buds like it....

i just found a photo on IC that got me searching for this thread, check it out it looks just the same as the Dr Grinspoon i smoked:

I was in Amsterdam a few weeks ago, and made a trip over to Barney's to try Dr. Grinspoon. I have smoked cannabis for many years, I have had quite a few strains, and I have a very high tolerance. I was not disappointed at all, as Dr. Grinspoon is now in my top five, leaning towards the number one spot. It smelled like heaven in the bag, and even more so in the grinder, great taste, smooth smoke, super head high, and my face and mouth were numb and full of tingles. The high lasted a 2.5 to 3 hours, and was every minute as good towards the end as it was in the beginning. I made sure we went to Barney's to purchase Dr. Grinspoon everyday I was in Amsterdam after that, and one of the coolest things about this strain is, you have about .1 grams of stem in a 3 gram bag of buds. We sampled about 18-20 other strains on the trip, and this one was my favorite. I will be growing this strain for sure, even with the bad reviews I have read on Barney's Farm Seeds, the high is worth taking the chance of wasting money on potentially "bad" seeds. The end result of this slow growing lady is magnificent, and well worth the wait. SMOKE THIS STRAIN IF YOU EVER HAVE THE CHANCE I promise you will say to your self "man that Best Buds was right on".

Anyone know if it works outdoors aside from the ultra long flowering?
After that description there's no doubt It was grinspoon I got about a year ago its worth its wait.
I really cant find enough synonyms for "unique" when describing grinspoon.
Incredible bud in every way, so good its yield and flowering period make it worth running for special personal stash once.
I was angry before smoking it the first time because of its bud structure thinking it was scraps from someones poor harvest not knowing it was a hardcore sativa.
TRULY amazing smell that explodes once broken up. Heavenly spice, floral hashy, sweet earthy, rich. same with the flavor. it was a thinner smoke still somewhat expansive.
I definitely felt it sink in immediately with inhale. Incredibly different soaring cerebral sensation, anti anxiety buzz, and laid back but clear/focused. It has a unique cerebral buzz/pulse I could feel tracing through my central nervous system.
Almost a perfect sativa high except longevity (and i personally like a denser hit). seriously the only "con" to the strain I just wish it lasted at least 2 hours. seemed like the overall high was around 1 hr before wearing off, noticed the incredible buzz go away around 30 minutes. still, unforgettable initial buzz/high. Some inter dimensional bud no joke.

edit-- since this original post I can still emulate the smell/taste of it. can't forget it, ingrained in my memory
