Just checked my plants in the greenhouse today, and guess wot i found ..... more mold i just cant get rid of this stuff iv been checking them every day and kept havin to cut bits of bud out which kept gettin grey mold on them, so today they had to have the chop icant risk it wiping out the whole greenhouse crop. The two plants r mr.nice shit and mr.nice walkabout which i think is some sort of quite early finishing strain i thought skunk but now it seems to hav taken on a fruity grapefruit type smell they were nearly finished so its not too bad, heres some pics of the plants and tPhoto URL:

u can see the little grey patch in the middle of the bud, the summers been crap this year in th uk last year was awesome for growin but hey we win some we lose some and my other plants in there r so far untouched by the mold and they,re lookin pretty good considering the weather. Next year il b prepared for the mold, to any of u greenhouse growers out there keep ur air circulation goin and watch out for the grey mold and get any out at the first sign.peace

Thanks for stoppin by freedom, is that shit chemical?? i dont usually use anything on my plants for mold, and this is only my second greenhouse grow, i find come autumn i only need to water once a week due to the fact that the soil stays wet for that long, its a bitch for flushin come harvest, the molds mainly there cuz of the tomatoe plants goin moldy and me not gettin um out soon enough.peace

i dont think so that it is chemical - its just a solution
with something about 15 % of copper we use this on tomatoes too
but now i start to be little mold paranoid:D cause i didnt see my greenhouse sweeties for a week:eek:
good luck in winter indoor season:p

sounds like you need to get some bubble bags and make hash, yum... even when bad things happen you can get something.... what a great hobby.

Awe shit man,
sorry about that damn mould  Hey I know what you mean about the shitty weather we had this year thats the norm in UK. This year in particular has been very bad for Humidity and thats just perfect for Mould Spores and other nasty microbes. Thats such a nice smoking plant as well. Sorry about your loss bro and good luck for next year I hope it's going to be arrad and dry with lot's of sunshine.

Play with supercropping or bending the main colas over. The bud clusters seem to seperate into seperate little foxtails and grow toward the sun plus allow for circulation around them. Add another fan to help in the convection flow of the grenhouse.

I ran into the same problem awhile back and it sucks to loose a few oz's to mold

You aren't runnin' a co2 generator are you? They create humidity! Two things for now and next time, 1. Use Serenade its a fungal inhibitor, this will help keep it from startin' 2. Buy a dehumidifier it will not only put the mold in check but drier environs are best for increased potency! G'Luck!! And remember that the movement of the moldy buds spreads the spores in the room (bag em!)so you may wish to do a complete cleaning ceiling to floor after this.

Thanks for stoppin by all..

Thanks for stoppin by all..

Harry, i cud of cried like a big girl too but this was an experimental grow and i wasnt sure wether or not theyd even finish in time bein mainly sativas and i kne mold was apossibilty with all the rain and humid weather.Badmf no i wasnt using a co2 generator but i did use a parafin heater which also lets off humidity, last year i didnt really hav a problem and i used the heater for weeks, this year however weather was very wet i stopped using the heater because it was so wet. Is this serenade organic??? I only use organic stuff on my plants if i can help it i dont like using chemicals!!

The problem with mold isn't really going to be dealt with any other way than to find strains that are not succeptable to mold. Bottom line is, mold is EVERYWHERE! If the plants aren't pretreated to keep them from molding and the halflife wears off before harvest then your going to get it if the genetics allow. The exact samething happens in prime example of my sweet tooth #3. That strain is just prone, because i grow large #'s, and out of all the strains, 25 or more, that one is always the one that does it, and not one other strains even right next to it!

Get some serenade spray, they now sell it at walmart, use it as a treatment/preventative. It will take care of your problem for sure!
