I have been posting quite a few smoke reports in mostly the regional section (Poland)
Now that I have got my hands on some quality herb, I wanted to also report it here.
Straight to business, I will tell you this is good shit.
The strain is called Grapefruit, and it was grown by an icmag member and grower, bogusik2.
He generously donated a sample of this high quality grow for my review.
It is homegrown from a female seed, then cured with a freezer method, a.k.a. Ice Curing.
Under first inspection, I like everything about this bud.
By far, it lives up to it's name of 'Grapefruit', as it smells great.
I love chopping it up, because as I cut it up, you can REALLY smell the sour grapefruit.
I spent 10 minutes just slowly ripping it open and smelling it.
The whole nug is bright and juicy, you can tell how gangster this is by how sticky it is. Definitely some of the stickiest icky I have handled in a long time.
To me, this is what makes good herb, thats a pleasure to smoke.
When you take a close look, you see light orange around the nugs, and a nice Winter style frosting of crystals all over the nug.
Imagine making grapefruit hash from this
that could have some nice results.
But seriously, the best shit to me is always nice and frosty. This bud had some nice crystals.
All chopped up, and ready to pack a bowl and take a puff.
Official Testing Equipment.
Before taking bud like this for a test drive, I like to prepare the right way to taste it.
Here I will be using a bong, with a glass bowl. Sparked with matches, and filtered through ice cold water.
Smoking it
The curing really makes a big difference. The herb wasn't dried too quickly. Immediately I can taste how the smoke is very smooth, even as I am pulling it initially, it doesn't hit my throat harshly.
The smoke itself has is own light density, which makes it easy to gulp down a big hit. VERY SMOOTH. I catch myself thinking "man, that was a small hit..." and then exhale a massive cloud of smoke... HELL YEA.
I take a moment to enjoy the taste while holding in the smoke, and I can still taste how fruity it is, with the original grapefruit accent now tasting slightly different. Wide range of awesome tastes here.
Definitely a potent product with interesting genetics.
The high was strong and heady, no question about it, but I could also feel it physically. maybe Some indica style properties?
Great grow, will gladly smoke again. I want to roll a fat blunt of this for my buddies, but i think it might be too potent for them...
