I thought I would throw out a little grow I'm doing thats just temporary. It's cheap and is just for a little personal and I'm always tinkering around with different crosses so I thought I would post this one!
First of all, I'm growing a couple of my own crosses. I had a friend trade my 5 Dutch Passion Power plants and I crossed them with a guido/sensistar (Guido- Killa Queen x G-13/Black Widow) from Motarebel.This is what Mota said about the cross! "Guido is short for Guideone, a good friend of mine who passed away last year. Guideone grew smoke for medusers and was my hero. Mrs.G1 is his wife and now carries on what he started. They are the cream of the crop,don't come any better than this". Mrs G1 posted her grow of this cross at GSA. This so far it seems to be very crystally and scrogging out nicely! I just called it PowerStar for the helluvit! Hope thats not taken! I didn't even make any F2's, I did keep 1 clone and some male nut... I mean pollen..though.
The next cross is H3ads G33/diesel crossed to Blue Toxic from Motarebel again! I made some F2's of his Blue Toxic (Toxic blue is Blue kronic x Killian(KQxNYCD) and also dusted a big female with one of h3ads G dominant male! (Everything I've grown from the H3ads has been stout to say the least! I got Sugaree going now too!) The male I used a dark and very sturdy stud! Big fat stalk and fat nuts too! This plant I have in the pic wasn't fully rooted when I switched them all to 12/12. This Indikiller I had to keep low and didn't want to scrogg her! The leaves are so big I fell it's not best for scrogg! I have 3 more clones that will be going under 1000wts soon! Well see how that works too!
Oh my quick setup is ghetto! Fred off Sanford and Son would be proud! Bring a song back into your h3ad? I posted a DIY on this setup. It's cheap and quick! I have 3 small white rubber tubs that I taped w/duct tape! 1 is a rez and the other is for plants! The bottom tub is full of nutes, it has a pump and a timer with it! I was watering in 3 stages of 30 minutes, but I thought bio-buckets just need a good drop off for oxegenation so I'm doing mine the same. They seem to like it. It bubbles up good on the uneven surface of the hydroton. An uneven surface is more effective at disrupting the water surface and creating more O2. It pumps up continuously to the top, the water flows across the tub, due to being on a slight angle to 2 pvc drains! The nutes then flow down about 30" to the next tub where it flows back across to holes on the other side of the middle tub that drain directly back into the top of the rez tub! Simple and cheap! I'm still using cfl lights that were from a previous veg stage! I'm putting money into a big grow, so this is just temp! They took a big hit last week when temps dropped to the teens some! A few plants leaves curled and got crispy! THere was a little Ice in the rez! I have a small 20$ aquarium heater in it now and the water flows constantly to keep temps around 70 degrees! Damage has already been done though! Oh well! Here are some pics!
