Whats everyone using to keep there cab doors shut. I have the little magnets that came with my cab when i first got it. I dont find there very affective, sometimes I think my door has snapped/clicked shut but it didnt fully. Im just adding updating my venting and exaughst but havent found anything more suitable to clasp the doors shut properly/fully. Any input?

By keeping your cab doors shut, do you mean with a resistance (i.e. locked)?

If so, I use a tot lock. They're very inconspicious and tidy looking. They are not like a reinforced bank vault, but anyone who's mildly suspicious will be denied access. If the bastard is very diligent though they could probably break them.

Anyways, apart from using those locks (when guests are over or I'm away for a day or so), I just shut the doors like you would any door...gently!

Sorry, I mean from the inside w/o a lock. Basically my problem is my foam weatherstripping is pretty snug against my doors to prevent light leaks. Sometimes when I push them fully shut, they push themselves off a second or 2 later. Just thought there was a simple type of hinge or click device, something that would push the doors more inwards to help maintain there seal.

You can get many different types from Home Depot or the like. Magnetic, mechanical, whatever you want.

Or if you want style points try an old PC (better yet, old heavy magnetic ballast), that you're no longer using...

Yea i know what you mean, those door shutting magnets that comes with cabinets loses power over the years. Not to mention theyre pretty weak to begin with.

Just make your own magnetic door shutting system by using giant ultra strength bar magnets from radioshack. Remove the current crappy magnets on your cab and mount (or glue) the new magnet where the old one was.

Tot locks rule....
They are totally hidden, they're easy to install, they come with a magnetic key, and they hold the doors shut...
Good ventilation will help keep the doors shut as well..
You could just go to home depot and look around to see what they have, I'm sure you'd find something that suits your needs..
Tot locks are a little expensive, but they're not horribly bad, and they pay for themselves in knowing no light leaks, and you can pull on the door pretty hard, and they won't pop open...
Just gotta know how to open it...

Yep they do rule... They can be a bit of a pain, but if you get the template right the first time you'll have no problems....
