Don't look here if you don't wanna see a dead rat

Tonight's feeding was quite the show stopper.

As you can see, the rat was only bit on the foot, that's how much of a pro this snake is =)

Was a unique facial expression on the mouse, so I couldn't resist breaking out the camera. I rarely have ever taken pics of him eating in 17 years, but I had the jitters in low light so the pics aren't tooooo quality

sick, reminds me of when we had a savannah monitor when i was young... thing was vicious. it would snap down three mice at a feeding like dahmer stalking his victims, it even ate another monitor 3/4 the size of him, wish i had pics from 94... :badday:

As well as carpet pythons, their skin looks like velvet or something, to me at least

Here's a pic of Matilda, my friend's 17 foot reticulated python :) He's crazy in my opinion...

hmm don't know why the pic is so small, but believe me this girl is an absolute monster

The rat looks like it had 1 tooth. I think we should name it One Tooth Wilma

do you put the rat in there live??? My friend who had a house full of all kinds of reptiles would gas em with Co2 and stick feed em , wiggle it a bit to make him interested... Coz the rodents can do some damage if they get a chance to...

I used to have a ball python. Nice pet, but there's not much interaction. We used to hang the gerbil by its tail and thump it on its head to stun it. We'd throw it in there and the snake would have it in a minute or so.
