so what, this is my first grow, i dont know what im doing!
but its a girl! i dont have pictures cause my camera cant get that close, but what do i do? its not even under 12/12 lighting! its been about 5 weeks since sprout.


i feel retarded for not knowing this. but im a happy retard!!!!

oops, its been 5 weeks, not 6. sorry, i dont know why i said that. but like i said im a spaz when excited.

oh, that and its size. its not going to hold much ha ha so i dont want it to flower yet. i just dont want to fuck it up by letting it veg for too long or something.

ur grow set up? lighting?

U will get plenty of help on here if u ask the right q's & provide the right info. Also, take some time & do some searches on here for cats that might be using the same type of set up, soil & lighting that u use.

i dont think there is an estimated time to veg,u could veg until its like the size of a building.hehehehe
just try and control the height if thats waht u want,with some branch training,use some string and carton so u dont hurt the branches..and also give us some more info on what type of set up ur using,like stayhigh sed.i have mother plants for 2 months know,and there is no problem.
here is a pic for ya,of my mother plants...oh and jeane...it also happend to me that they showed me the sex when they were veging,,there´s no problem also,just keep them under light for at least the 18\6 and u will be fine.

formaldehyde - i know that and i wish i did. i found the seed on the floor of my room, i put it in a paper towel to see if it would grow, and it turned into this. i didnt wanna kill it, but i was curious. so know im paying the consequences of growing without any knowledge. but hey, i have a lil common sense so im not a total loss. you guys are wonderful and i adore all the help i can get

Your going to need a light or two, one for you, to read by,, optional; and, one - for the plant.

My personal recommendation would be a 1000W switchable unit with MH and HPS bulbs.

VROOOOOM!

At the very LEAST you need a CFL bulb, a timer is nice, but you could leave the light on 24/7 for now,,, - there are several levels in between those two examples.

Hi Jeane, Don't worry so much! You got your darling through the shakiest part of growing. So many things can go wrong with new seedlings, damping off, moldy soil. etc. So you are doing it right, dear. Walmart has CFLs on sale right now. Cool whites are best for vegging, warm whites for buds, more light is better. Mix a bit of molasses in your water- I use a tablespoon to a gallon- to feed the good mycorrhyza (sp?, just had a puff) that help your plant grow. I grow mine in 19 gallon "rubbermaids" that Walmart had for under $4. I just drilled some holes in the bottom and set them in their lids to catch any run-off. Give cannabis enough light and water and even halfway decent soil, and it will grow! Remember, it's a weed! Check out how to clone- just use the search button- and you will have a self-perpetuating supply of homegrown! Have fun, child- you've just started on one of the most rewarding hobbies you're ever likely to do. Just keep your garden a total secret! Do all your bragging (or tales of woe) here- not to your friends! You never know when some friend will get busted and bullied into turning in his friend- you, the grower. Or, if nontoking, may decide to "save" you from "marijuana addiction" by turning you in! The fewer who know about your grow, the better!
