but this is my first girl and I believe she is rootbound. Dont know the days havent been counting. She is under a 150w. Is it too late too transplant?
If it is what problems do I look forward to having? Any help would be appreciated!!!! I belive she is in a 3 gallon. I have a five gallon. I also didnt put enough soil in the container. So really she is only in like 2 21/3 gal of soil :pointlaug :chin:

no its not rootbound, its in a 3 gallon pot and its small so I dont think you have a rootbound problem

a good rule of thumb is if you must water more than 2-3 time per week then your probably root-bound

its not growing that much and when I look at the bottom of the pot it looks like there are roots trying to poke their heads through. But the real question I want answered is it too late too transplant this girl? I remember reading here or on og that when its like two weeks into flower or later it is too stressful to transplant. :smoweed:

I have transplanted plants well into flowering 4 and 5 weeks

it does cause undo stress, but if you can do it quickly and without doing damage it wont cause any problems

your plant is not rootbound, theres no way, the plant is not big enough even though it is LST'd

the roots from the bottom is most likley just root hairs

Ive had plants 2 times that size in a 3 gallon size pot and wasnt rootbound

so you are good to go throughout flowering

Thanks

Thanks

Thanks so much Mynamestitch. That was the answer I was looking for. Also, now that I look at the bottom of the pot it does look more like root hairs. After all this is my first girl and I am a noob at this growing stuff. Hopefully I can pull my first harvest off. Well see. Your guide to sick plants is some great info. :respect: :smoweed: I feel alot better now. I am going to transplant into a five gallon pot tomorrow though. Thanks again EVERYONE on this site except for the few LEO that may be wandering around( well not the ones that grow atleast). I love this new hobby of mine and hope to someday have gardens like all of you!!!!

Hey, no problem. thats what i lurk here for :)
I havnt been on as much as i Like because im writing a book, it will be in stores in oct of this year

the sick plants guide, but with alot more information, everything from cloning problems to hermie pollination dieases like fusairum wilt and much more

it should be aover 110 pages with pictures.

I wouldnt transplant into a 5 gallon pot, if you pull that root ball up to transplant you will rip roots
and you will waste soil
when you transplant you rely on the plant holding the root ball together that way you can get it into the new pot without ripping roots
i can gurantee if you lift that plant up it hasnt rooted the whole thing to where the roots wrapped around to hold it into one big root ball

to keep stress down and cause problems, do not repot!

im glad we got peeps growing, its the only way we can overcome the goverment
I got busted last year some asshole friend of mine who i knew for over 4 years snitched on me :/

so im still in the process right now of going through it, its leaning towards my side right now because the pig that busted my house busted his house the same day and got the warrant by word of mouth, no investigation or nothing

so we might get this whole thing dropped

No repot then!!

No repot then!!

Thanks amillion for the advice. I guess I wont repot then. So you think I should just finish off in this pot? I know I wrote this before but I didnt fill the whole three gallons with soil. Every time I watered it itcompacted a little more.

You can see in this picture how much space there is. You dont think this is a problem? Oh well enough questions from me. I will just keep chugging along. Thanks again for the info  :smoker: :smoweed:

nope still not a problem, next time though leave an inch and a 1/2 of space from the soil to the rim of the pot, when the plant is deep down like that it wont get side lighting

yes leave it, she will finish out just fine :)
also the root growth is explosive only 2 weeks after flowering stage hits the plant, meaning it started flowering, not from the time you switch over 12/12

so after the 2 weeks its a waste really, unless your plant was getting rootbound when you put it into flowering in the first place
