One good reason for not doing it is that the US Military is an occupying force in a foreign country, and you just can't nuke people for not complying with an occupation. If we reverse the roles, and the USA was occupied by the Iraqi Army, what would you and your buddies do if an Iraqi Army convoy got trapped down an dead end in your neighbourhood? Perhaps you would be tempted to tag a few of these bastards, once you had them within reach?

Seeing that Virginia National Guard escort take off with the tail between its legs once the fighting starts tells us something about the fighting moral of US troops in Iraq.

Man thats terrible, I just for the life of me cannot understand why there is this much hate in the world....because Im sure our troops have done the same thing, But when they kill civilians and execute prisoners(which im sure happens as it does in every war) no one in our country cares, As im sure that no one in Iraq cares when people from our side die...... Until now Iraq invasion by US have done nothing else than fuelling terrorism and inspiring thousands to fight the US/West.

Would the US use nukes in Iraq, millions would join the Jihad (all today's so-called terrorist would then have legitimate reason for fighting and destroying the US) and then the big and real problems would start.

And as dick said it, it would blast the oil field, which is the main reason for US invasion.

What did Iraq have to do with 9/11 nothing it's all about the oil and the $ how much cash have western contractors made from Iraq. If someone go's to Iraq to work because of the big bucks being offered and they get killed tough shit i say you knew what you were doing before you went.
