No matter what your politics are, your funnybone has been touched by this man. Remembered for his starring roles in Burt Reynolds movies and on Dean Martin's variety show, Mr. Deluise became a cameo actor and comedian who used everything he had to bring smiles to the rest of us.

I remember him for those Cannonball Run movies and cameo appearances in movies from time to time. I watched him on Dean Martin's show but I was just a lad then, so I only remember his beard, jolly appearance and addiction to laughter and practical jokes. I'm afraid the world will be just a wee bit of a meaner place because of his passing...
