Doing dirty things with BS

M

Micro420

Well now that summer of 2010 is arriving time to play in the dirt.
Main things I trying to achieve this year
1. Have fun
2. Maximum rounds possible. I'm shooting for four rounds by the time Sept/Oct come around.
3. Too have a supply of weed from late June to atleast Nov/Dec. Might be hard since weed is like candy to me.
4. Patience. I want to hold through on this project.

Strain: Bluestreak
Method: Outdoor SOG

Today a total of 25 bluestreak where placed in peat pellets. So nothing interesting now. But my plan is to stagger them with timing. So my thoughts of as now place these outside in 1-2 weeks. Usually our last frost around here is first part of April. Daffodils, maples, bradford pears and dogwoods are blooming so should be good on a weather stance.

Then about mid-late month in April start another round of 25. Then again in May another 25. I'm going to try to do this until about June-July.

Anyway a little info about the seeds. I won these last year on the server fund. Then I did a grow last year for bud/seed. Ended up with about 150 seed. Bluestreak and Bluestreak*UBS cross. I've been itching to grow these.

Unfortunately some may not AF. I made a few mistakes last year, got drunk and high while trimming etc. Mixed up the seed that I had. So to clear any confusion now the ones that don't AF are as is UBS*Bluestreak F1. I'm expecting a few to several of those.

Pics will come in a few days after some growth.:plant grow:

Ooops. I did the same thing. Had seeds drying in marked little Dixie cups. Cleaned seeds from plant and put in wrong Dixie cup. Arrrgh.

I did staggered grows outdoors with autos last year. Started 10 seeds in mid March and then every month through July. Unfortunately I had really bad male/female ratios. Worst was 10 Hindu Kush, 1 female and 9 males. Had 5-6 plants going all the time and grew 8 different strains. Going to do the same thing this year but will start 20 at a time instead of 10.

Why not invest in fems? Just curious

I do have some fems but prefer the non fems so I can make my own seeds. I pollinated the lower buds on the lone HK female and got 20 seeds for this year. I also did the same with Diesel Ryder, White Russian and Pakistani Ryder and have over 200 seeds total.

You can make your own seeds with fem as well. Just use CS to make more fem pollen...

Pics a little late though. Have a bag of soil admendments and chicken shit so they will be going in the ground tomorrow. Not too bad I guess. Two were a dud and one ultra runt. Down to 22.

10 gallon fish tank seed starter.

Hey this is Micro420

I had a major lapse in computer security. Found out someone has been hacking into my computer. Anyway I deleted everything and I mean everything.... Reinstalled computer software, etc etc. I got stronger software so no more issues hopefully.

Anyway here are a couple pics that were taken a few days ago. At the point and time only a couple males have shown. I'll get out there later and take some more while I water. Yesterday notice a few female hairs showing.

But as I said I started 25. A dud and couple of runts took me down to 22. Then when I planted had some storms that damaged 2 more so down to about 20.

Temps have been cool in the morning so they're a little slow. Also there are a couple thats not growing 100%. Also that chicken shyte seems to work wonders. Anyway happy 420 everyone... remember smoke till ya choke.

Most recent just a few minutes ago, took pics b4 I watered .

Still some have not shown preflowers.
Though I know there are about 5 males. Like 4 females. Potentially have 11 more females. Won't know for sure till a couple of days.

I hope so which probably will. I'd have friends last year compare it to "florida weed". They starting to get a little stanky with fruit aroma. Hard to really with the moth balls scattered around.

Going to give a few more days for sexing. Chopping all males but the finest. Then round two is coming within the next week or two.

I've been raided.... something had the munchies. Not a total loss though... 2 were dug up 1m 1f.

Anyway time the fence goes up today along with more moth balls. Also I guess its time to start some more, probably with in the next couple of days.

As it stands now

12 Females
1lost

5 Males
1lost
2pulled

Still 3 ufps. Overall though still looking to get anywhere from 5-7ozs come june.

I know makes me wonder if its something the male plant created more female pollen than male(x,y) considering I've had my bads and my goods. I planted like 10 ML seeds lost 1. Bye the time they sex was 8/1. Talk about a gangbang.

Go for it... rome won't built in a day. A rollercoaster ride in life of weed leaves you to be an overall better grower.

Picture time with ye ole beer can trick. Also that is my ghetto fishing line fence. Tacky but practical.

This pic look close... micro pheno and mutant. The mutant is a male so he is going. The micro is a female.

Not bad I don't guess. Group shots... 12 females two males and mutant male.

Looking good my friend, whats your area or latitude. I am doing my first auto outdoor grow this year, so I'm looking at your thread for inspiration!!!

Yeah they love the potting soil/chicken manure mix. Not too bad overall our last frost usually in mid April. We've actually had a couple good frost around here since Easter... but they appear to show no frost damage. Mild days and cool nights... the spring floage this year is way ahead of normal. Already have like 100% of usual summer canopy in which isn't normal till like late April/Early May.

Also cold weather delays flowering but with the cool weather around here haven't been any problem flowering. If I had to say maybe a few days to week delay if that. Planted 3/24 and few of them showed before but majority of the preflowers happen around a month later usually its about 3 weeks or so before preflowers.

I located along the VA/NC line located somewhere in piedmont area.

Good luck with ya's and have fun. I'm pleased with them.

Quick update.

Round II starts today though not as enthusiastically as Round I. Only starting 10 this time. Running out of space and lazy not wanting to create more plots.

Anyway decided to chop the other two males. Dug up the best one for a indoor plant. Don't want it pollinate the whole crop.

I've got a couple females right now thats 9-10" high still growing thats will be the egg donors. The other females for the most part are 6-7.5" tall.

Here is the best male kept... surprisingly tall--18.5"
Sorry for the blurry pics. But the black part dot/triangle on the tape is the foot marking.
