Dog bud????

I'm talking about the dog bud that was sold to chem dog at a dead show. Now the seeds in this dog bud chem popped an called them chem dog. I've always been interested in the origins of this dog bud that seems to be a backbone of some of the greatest strains today.

From what I remember only a pound and a half of the dog came into town and Joe got it all. We took it all with us on dead tour two days later. I remember cause everyone in town was pissed we were leaving with it. RC could have got some as well I just don't remember. We were smoking other strains back in 1991. The dog came to town ONE time. TC did bring it to town but we were not getting it on a reg basis. Just once. I'm saying the dog could have come through Dave R genetics from the bunker weed. I don't remember finding any seeds. I would have remembered that and saved them. As for Rob C having two seeds somewhere in his house? Man I hope so! But I think the last two seeds of chems 13 are gone

The chem line has nothing to do with Florida of Hawaii. The seeds that started the chems and sour d came from an ounce of dogbud that we got in Colorado in 1991. I'm thinking the dogbud we got came through Dave Richards somehow.

it took a few years to track down
and then it cost me a really pretty penny to acquire

I tend to believe that the bunker weed grown in the 80's is where it all began. As Dave Richards said on the Adam Dunn show and emails to me that weed was shipped all over the U.S. I think this is where the "dog" we got in 1991 came from "Daves Original Genetics" D.O.G. OG prob came from a bag seed of chem 91 which came from a bag seed of the "dog". Just my opinion. In time we will know

And it's spelled Chemdog not "dawg". Joebrand myself and our friends started calling the dog Chemweed. Because of the fuel taste. Chemdog took chem and dog and combined them to Chemdog.

Joebrand and I said the same thing when we changed the name dog bud to chemweed it was kind of a joke when we said it. But then G took Chem and dog and combined em and it stuck. When we named chem 4 that was pretty easy
