The first looks a little rootbound either that or the medium isn't right, possibly PH possibly bad drainage. The second looks perfectly fine, both look fine to me they look weird until you get em going...

hi core, thanks for your info, usually i water very little everyday. usually i wait until the top soil dry and they dry very fast, i dont cover the soil with anything, temp 32 deg celcius, humidity around 60.
i tried to make the pot heavier but it seem that the soil don't hold water well when it dries.
normally i water with ph 7, i'll try to used demineralized water that has a 6 ph value

thanks
Andy

np mate:)

temps are way to high mate....thats why you need to water every day.....watering is also a small art....coz when the soil dry's out it will leave a sort of crust...and it will repel the water at first.....so you should disturb the topsoil a bit with ya fingers and then poor slowly untill the soil start to drinks it.....that easy....
also you should bring the ph into the right zone....7 is to high and 6 is to low....6.3-6.8 is optimum....

and you should use only demineralised water depends on how hard your water is
and i think you should not flush....just a few plain waterings will help out i thin

Core, you are absolutely right. it is crusting, thanks for the tips, i'll start using the demineralized water from now on, expensive here.
About the temp.I live in a tropical country where normal room temp around 30 deg C. i'm still thinking how i'm gonna install the 250 watt HPS here.

cheers

Dr G, everyone are having this symptom. only happen on the bottom leaves. they are all grows fine. normally i only feed them water, but after your post, i feed them npk 20,20,20 but the bottom leave still wont go green. it usually started yellowing from the tip then the whole leaf, then the yellow color will turn pale yellow, i think this is not normal during vegetative right?
thanks
