Thats the good news Ive been waiting 43 days to hear. A male would have been the worst, 42 days down the drain. It's suprising she turned female, and looks so nice, she was jut bagssed, had some bad problems (N def, Under water ect) and is just not starting to look so nice. Isn't it weird she showed sex that early? Doing a scrog, i know you want all the nodes on t he screen. What exactly is a node? I know it is where a bud will come, but how do I know what to train up there until buds start coming?

Congrats it's a she!!
Plants usually pre-flower in 4 -6 weeks after breaking the surface in soil from seed. No 12/12 needed.

How tall would you expect it to be at the minimum because shes only 13'' tall with a 150 HPS at 8 inches away. Now comes the training, it reached it a few inches ago, but I'm still not quite clear on the exact process.

if ya wish to LST tie her down ya can use some 10 gauge electrical wire i used twist tie a 100ft roll from the nursery twisty was cut to length. about 1.5 inch from bottom of plant off the soil wrap the wire or twisty around the base and secure it to 1 side of the plant container. now with bottom secured take another length of what ya used. hook the top of the plantmaybe 2 nodes from very top pull this to opposite side of container very gently, may take a day or two to achieve as close to 90 degree bend as possible just adjust a little by little untill desired lowness is achieved. now the whole plant is opened up your lower side branchs will grow stright up and become as main's themselves. after everything is established you'll want to adjust each branch untill your canopy is as even as possible. your yield should also beincreased . i have bigbuda's LST tutorial from OG but its saved in ms word and tis 5 pages w/pic's lol. but in short what ive described is his tut w/out the pic's. some ppl like myself make holes in side of the container others who start the process early use rubber bands around the container to hold the wire after adjustment. . as for the plants height when finished remember this the plant will finish on average 1-3 times it was when flowering was induced. ie 1 ft plant can finish 3-4 ft, the 1st 2-3 weeks of 12/12 is the major stretch time for the plant after that it still grows up but not the rate when 12/12 started

Right...shes getting scroged as mentioned...but at least now I always know how to LST in the future haha. 40 days veg 13'' I just figured was a bit small.

40 days veg what are your grow room specs (ie) WxDxH what size is the container the plant is in ??. @ 40 days veg and 150w hps it should be 2x that size. what are your grow erea temps, has the plant been under the 150w hps the whole time ???? my last grow the plants grew 1.5-2 inch per day every day of the veg 1st week 24/0 lighting, 2nd wk 18/6 untill 7th wk this was done under 180w sprial cfl's and 40w fluro wk 1-3, @ wk 3 i added 400w hps @ wk 7 i 12/12 them. during flowering i used the 400w hps only my plants under the cfls where about your's size when i turned the hps on. im not knocking your set up but maybe with some idea of what ya have maybe we can hellp ya better your grow setupCanandaHerb said:

Well, the cab is 2 feet wide, 1 and a half feet deep, and almost 3 feet tall. It is a gutted dresser for stealth reasons. The plant was born and raised on the 150w. Pot size right now is 12 inches. The cab has very good circulation and Temps have ranged from 25-27 degrees celcius lights on, and around 20 lights off. The RH is 65%-70% for veg, now that shes 12/12 can I remove the humidifer and drop it back down to the 40% it's at without the humidifier?
