Does Pakistan Kush Need Purple Induced?

Greetings Fellow Connoisseurs,

I just read an article about inducing color change in some strains. I personally experienced a blueberry skunk turn purple when night temps dropped into the 40's. It took quite a while however for the color change.

Does the purple Pakistan need ice water, cold nights, or air conditioning to get the purple and pink hues? I didn't realize this could even be done, I thought it was all natural. Any experienced members please inform me whats up with this strain.

:thank you:

hey!

i would say, that most pck phenos turn purple because of their genetic background!

some strains need temperatures under 16°C and some strains do it, because it's in their genetics!
they turn purple even if you have 30°C!

that's why many outdoorplants (central/north europe) turn purle!

btw ... one of my nepalese jam females turns purple too!
never been under 19°C!
so i'd say it's also in her genetic! :D

anyways,
best wishes!

Thanks fellows, I appreciate your time and knowledge. I had a blueberry x skunk I allowed to remain outdoors. The leaves turned purple, and this pheno had the candy fragrance, but it was skunk dominant and didn't have that beautiful color. I lost some phenos with the mutated BB leaves in a severe flood. I'm gonna attempt to grow the original BB next season and try to cross it with PCK. Should be a very fun experience!

GP73LPC, I began reading the emperor wears no clothes, and I found strong connections to other documents I've read which explains how the money changers gained control of the world's currencies. Incremental-ism is a very powerful weapon.

The colorful pheno usually dont need low temps, nutrient deficiencies or excessive maturation to show colors. The colors are there even in early flowering.

But of course, if temps are quite low, then the color pigmentation will be stronger.
