Does drying and curing help with cooking?

Title pretty much sums it up.. Is it okay to cook wet trim? Should I dry it out, cure it for a lil bit? I usually wait until its dry, then chop it up nicely and make butter, but do I have to wait?

i think it depends weather you're trying to get stoned or for flavor. i mean you can use fresh fan leaves for like salads and garnish. butter is best when made from buds and i dont think curing is going to affect the taste of the butter, although curing affects the potency of the bud.? wow ill have to smoke on this. good question
