Funny, seeing as the mother of that cross, that particular SSH cut, is a multiple time cannabis cup winner in 2014/2015 - winning in Denver, Seattle, Los Angeles - it is even rumored to be Shanti's old cut from the late 90's that cleaned out cups in Amsterdam then.
But sure - go back to sorting randoms, when you could be sorting seeds based on CHAMPION selections from the very line you want.
My take on things and yes I've smoked the Core Amnesia / Moppel SSH, grown by the good sir himself. I've worked through a big slab of her shatter too, so I think my opinion holds merit.
I'm not sure why anyone feels the need to knock Cali genes either. Remember, Amsterdam and the seed houses were started by genes brought from California - even to this day, they source "Cali genetics" to be relevant. Don't kid yourself.

Waddup Frank. When that ssh cut arrived at my house, and I was told the story about it being shanti's, I hit Shanti up on his website. He told me the info I provided was insufficient to determine if it was his cut or not, but twenty minutes later I got a call from dude who gave it to me and spicoli/smoke trees fukn pissed that I hit Shanti up. And I hadn't told Shanti who gave me the cut. Pretty tight chain there. TBH, the only reason I personally still have it, people I grow for LOVE that cut. LOVE it. I prefer heavier smokes. But she is a growers dream. No doubt
