Does anyone play poker?

I play all the time online and sometimes in real tourneys BUT I think it would be cool to have an ICMAG exclusive poker room for funny money of course. I am not much of a gambler but I sometimes play in $ tournaments.

Online poker is a con due to the number of cheat programs available so i only play in person now. It's too easy to win online even when playing for money. I think an online tournament or similar would be subject to too much cheating to be fun. Maybe they could have it as an event at the icmag cup or something. Poker was designed to be played face to face anyway??????

on my pc. dont own a 360,ps3 or 2. my pc does eveything thay do and more. cant see a reason to get one. ive play in person many times. play online so i dont gamble with my money. dont have mutch of the greenbacks as it is.

I have friends who play and I'd love to be able to join them.

I've seen bodog and bet 21 but was wondering if there were any more recommendations. Thanks in advance.

try aol games. thay have it set up for begginers on up. its free.

I've heard of pokerstars but haven't checked out anything on aol. I'll look at them both.

No playing for money until I learn the game. I may be a newbie, but I'm not a dummy.

I like PokerStars for fun and if was going to play for real money online I would enter a WSOP satellite tournament with them because I think it would be awesome to go Vegas and play in the WSOP.

But it is so true people play with fake money like it is fake.

i dont play for real money online. dont have the cash to blow that way. but when i do play online, i play like it is my money. on aol right now i have about 380,000 dallers in my bank. that gets me into any turniment or room i want. i play all-in tables only and enjoy it. for someone just starting out it might be better to do that unless you have an unlimited bank account and dont care how mutch you loose.

well u could play for very small limits to start, online blinds start at $0.50-$1.00 and get as big as u want, pretty much...i do agree though its kind of key to be playing with real money, but if people find it entertaining then no matter...i don't really play cards for fun anyhow, it always feels kind of like work to me and if i start having a lot of fun drinking and shooting the shit then i usually get clipped lol...
