does anyone have experience with the trim reaper?

I'm looking into buying a trim reaper trimming machine in the near future. Has anyone used one and have input? I'd hate to spend $1200 on one to find out its crap...

It's been several years since I've used a trim reaper, and I'm unsure if they've made improvements over that time, but I personally think the Trimpro Rotor is a much nicer machine.

I gave my reaper to a friend and use the rotor now.

The reaper effectively did a similar job, but I feel the overall quality and build of the rotor is better.

The rotor has a door to expel finished buds, the reaper you have to the top part off and collect or dump the buds into something.

The reaper has/had small wire blades which bend easily during cleaning and end up not hugging the grate well enough for a good cut. The rotor has a nice sharp actual blade. I think the cut is slightly nicer out of the rotor, but there are many variables in that regard.

I think once broken in/ soaked in warm olive oil.. the leather fingers of the rotor are superior to the rubber fingers of the reaper. The reaper fingers also tear easily after use and during cleaning. I also want to say the reaper was louder.. a bit of a rattle, while the rotor sounds smooth.

Just my 2c. They may have improved the reaper since I've used one, but I definitely felt the rotor was a much nicer machine in my experience with the both of them.
