Does anybody besides me like to watch cartoons while high?

Ok, Yeah, I probally sound retarded and juvenile. But it's probally due more to my generation i grew up in.I was curious to if anyone else enjoys watching cartoons stoned? Myself i like to laugh and have fun and enjoy my buzz. And i must say most cartoons these days are geared more for adults. Well, basicly i have a decent job.And i need release from acting Mr. Professional office worker man all day.. Plus im a big kid at heart. Surprisingly i was stoned and watching a cartoon called the fairly odd parents with my 4 year old daughter and i was cracking up severely. She was giving me weird looks shes a bit young yet to get most the subtle jokes/sarcasm. But basicly I enjoyed it and continue to watch them. It's great to have a good hard laugh these days. So Am I the only one? :muahaha:

Well I will watch them, but there has to be nothing else on. Most of todays cartoons are either toilet humor or anime. I am not really into either, so maybe an old scooby doo episode, or a spidey, but other than that, when i look at the guide I do not even look at those channels

Nothing beats a good documentary when you are high

Some of the shows on Cartoon Network are/were pretty dope...

I've always liked Samurai Jack, Billy and Mandy, and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends on CN. Some of their Adult Swim stuff is pretty good, too. The Boondocks, Aqua Teen, Squid Billies, Venture Bros., and Sealab 2021 are classic.

I'm with Dr. Dog on one thing though, this lil' kiddie-style anime is weak. The real anime deals with adult topics/themes that kids aren't likely to dig. Akira and Appleseed come to mind as good examples...

Sometimes I watch an old tom and jerry cartoon or two. You know the old ones with no talking in them. That mouse has to be one of the most crafty little buggers ever :D It reminds me of when I used to watch them when I was(?) a kid :biglaugh:

Oh yes! Futurama is the best. Tarkus and I have been watching the marathons. I'm going to be crushed if another channel doesn't pick up Futurama. It's such a great show and is much better than a lot of the cartoons out today. I can't think of a cartoon on TV now that I even like. All of the new cartoons are not funny to me at all. Even South Park has had better days....and don't get me started on the Simpsons. Bah! I am always up for old Tom and Jerry episodes. Those were the classics. Looney tunes was the best.

I'm a huge Futurama fan, and I was watching last night too. A futurama movie came out on dvd a little while ago I just saw that last week and it was just as good as the show, not a letdown at all (not like the simpsons movie).

Turned this up after a quick google search:
"After several years of regular showings on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block, Futurama is about to move to Comedy Central. Starting January 2nd, the 72 episodes of the original Futurama run are going to be shown Wednesdays through Fridays between 8pm and 9pm ET. Comedy Central also holds the rights to show the 4 new Futurama movies with Bender's Big Score scheduled for the first quarter of 2008."

I like stuff like Futurama and Family Guy... generally though I don't watch cartoons made for kids.

I love watching stuff like Planet Earth or the Universe series on channels like the discovery channel or national geographic.

cartoons kick ass!

always been into cartoons! initially like other kids, then when my friends were growing out of them i still loved em. in college i proudly got a copy of fantasia & fell in love w/ animaniacs. since then there have been MANY greats: aaah real monsters, god the devil & bob, loonatics unleashed, pixar shorts & movie colaborations, etc. love seeing fosters got mentioned... i love coco! and the fairly odd parents definately can be funny like spongebob squarepants... patric kills me! yup i do love me some toons!

Not that wierd. I'm into cartoons. Lately I've been getting into Duckman. I remember watching it when I was much younger, not thinking it was that great, but now, 10 years later I can fully appreciate it's sleazy humor.

Oh yeah, I like to get medicated and watch some toons, I am often reminded to re-up my high when a good one is comming on.

I am always on the lookout for a episode of South Park I have not seen, or a good classic one. So far I have been fairly well entertained by this seasons episodes:

Guitar queero- This episode hit the nail on the head, the part where Stans dad trys to play it is hillarious!

Tourettes- Cartman developing real tourettes and blurting out "my cousin and I touched wieners" was classic.

Imagination land- The part where Kyle is in a shock stuper, and is watching Ronald McDonald look for his severed arm floored me. Also the part where the Christmas critters impress Jason and Freddy is pretty funny.

I really like the episode from last year where they are playing Warcraft. The part where Cartman shits in a basket his mom is holding so he doesn't have to leave the game, lol!

I also enjoy Futurama and Family guy episodes I have not seen 6 times before.......Venture brothers is a rare gem in my opinion.....

Does anyone watch Robot chicken? I always do a dose of my strongest bud/hash before that comes on, check it out!

Beavis and Butthead, Ren and Stimpy, Angery Beavers(remember that one?).

I do like to watch some childrens cartoons, like Sponge Bob, but I've seen all the episodes a dozen times(easy to do with kids around).

Duckman is GOD!!!!

"I've never felt this way about a man before."
"Neither have I. Well, there was once, but there was a lollipop involved."

Futurama is also muay awsome.

But the 2 cartoons that get most of my viewing time is Venture Brothers or Boondocks.
"We do not use the 'N' word in this house."
"Grandad, you used the word 'nigga' 46 times yesterday."
"Nigga, hush!"

Futurama is the best show ever because it has the best character ever: Captain Zapp Brannigan! (OK, well, technically South Park is the best show ever, don't ask me to choose between Brannigan and Butters)

Best moments include:

"A sexy mistake"

"I suffer from a sexy learning disability; sexlexia."

"I don't pretend to understand Brannigan's Law, I merely enforce it."

"Brannigan's Law is like Brannigan's love, hard and fast"

"Throw her in the laundry brig!"

"What makes a good man go neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?"

"Wow, one day a man has everything...,then the following day he blows up a $40 billion space station, and the next day he has nothing. It really makes you think."
