What a huge difference between Canada and the USA when it comes to the freedom of cannabis use both medical and recreational.
The policy in the States for veterans is:
VA will not pay for medical marijuana prescriptions from any source. VA scientists may conduct research on marijuana benefits and risks, and potential for abuse

While in Canada:
Veterans Affairs Canada made the decision to reimburse one Veteran for cannabis for medical purposes on compassionate grounds. Since that time, Veterans Affairs Canada has been reimbursing the cost of cannabis for medical purposes for Veterans in increasing numbers and at an increased cost.

My bother was injured in the line of duty back in the first gulf war. With cannabis and three operations he can walk again without a cane. Its sad to think that he would not have had the same support down in the States.
