Hey guys I know this has been asked a lot with varying answers but do most soil growers PH their water before watering or not?
I have just put my seeds into soil. I checked the PH of the water and it was 7.8. I know ppl say 6.8 is optimum for soil but others say that a PH level like what I have is fine as the soil will buffer it.
I am currently growing in Biobizz light mix. The label states it has a PH of 6.2
As much as I would like to water some plants with room temperature tap water and water some others with water PH'ed to 6.8 I just don't have the time to be doing a lot of testing and since I'm growing from seed I don't want to put seedlings under any unnecessary stress
I have not added any nutes to the water yet but I'm sure that will change my PH again.
So, in closing.
Would you PH the water or leave it as it is until the plants show that they don't like it.
Peace out
