Do they weigh the jar?

I know around here the cops if they find a stash they weigh it all, including the bag, and include it in the final weight.
But what if it's in a heavy jar?
I came across one in the kitchen cupboard today and I thought it would be good too store in, airtight lid and would hold about an oz and a half.
But it's heavy, probably weights a kilo, and if the cops included that in the weight then what would otherwise be say half an oz would jump up to being over a kilo, and that would put one in the trafficking zone.
Anyone know if they include the wieght of a jar in the weight?

That would never hold up

They can certainly charge you with the weight of the jar included. It would never hold up at trial when said evidence is produced, however.

I had a friend get charged with possession of 1700 grams cause he had weed butter....so they just threw that shit on a scale... and he only put a couple oz's of shake in there

I also had a friend get charged with 170g cause he had 2oz in an extractor
