Do the roots stop growing when in flower?

Hello, I recently read this and would like to know if it is true. I vegged some seedlings in fast-food cups for three weeks and recently switched to 12/12. They are still in the plastic cups and I would like to know if transplanting them now would make a difference to my yield. I know I should have transplanted before switching to 12/12 but oh well, all is said and done now. Thanks for any help.

Hey, what would happen if I put a little bit of root-inducing hormone in the water instead of superthrive?

If you want explosive root growth with your transplant try some good quality cold pressed liquified sea kelp it has lot of growth hormones , phosphorus, and other good stuff for root growth and your plant, a little goes a long way.

Thats some goooood advice.A 25% increase in container size is all thats needed for most plants when switching to 12/12.Remember to continue the nitrogen a few weeks the plants are still vegging after the photoperiod switch

Great advice Blockheader and PureKnowledge. Rep coming your way! Its been really good for me to know about this 25% increase because you can wait for the switch till the bucket is pretty full! Good advice all..

superthrive is root-inducing hormones. You are supposed to use it during transplants...
