Women can't hear better, don't have more sensitive taste buds, can't see better, and if you look at average lifespans women are shorter. However, I tend to look at the human race as each individual his/her own, instead of effectively lumping the world into two categories. Get this... there is no such thing as "Women", or "Men". There are only you and me... and 6 billion other people. And we are each our own category!

wow such negative energy in the last couple of posts...this is a place where woman can come and hang out and posts their thoughts and experiences, where we can be comforable and nobody is saying that one gender is better then the other just different, and thats a good thing, we all love mj and want to same thing, thats all we are saying...women just might do it different, and thats okie dokie

Well, well, how things have progressed since first starting this thread. It's 15 pages now! Although, it seems like some folks don't take a moment to see what the first post was that started this thread, so maybe it's best to repost it here and put things back into perspective.

Well, It's been two registrations and several months since I last commented on the actual opening question in this thread, but......
I'd say that anyone who has ever been around a building project with various trades-persons around, knows that lots of women are capable of handling a torch, saw, hammer, pipe-bender or threader, pipe dope, tin shears, or whatever the job calls for; desire and a decision to learn, coupled with capability (intellect, etc.), and skills already attained, are all that's required.... So yeah, the set-up and physical maintenance part isn't in question, in my opinion.
The gardening part is much the same. I worked on enough farms in my younger years to see many women on their hands and knees in the fields with the rest of us.
Then there's the whole spirit of life thing, and beliefs, (stereotyped or not), of women as 'givers of life,' 'source of life' (i.e., birthing, etc.) But that goes toward a more subjective discussion of nature vs. nurture and theories of genetic predisposition for behavior, etc.
There, that should make up for my earlier attempt at mediocre humor... Or not... ;^>)
